Lukas could hear Elias's smugness even over the phone. Thinking about Magnus's arrogant face and the sight of

him humiliated like that, Lukas raised an eyebrow and smirked. "The wicked get their just deserts."

"You're absolutely right. With a guy like him, it was only a matter of tbefore he tripped over his own

arrogance. He even wanted to challenge us!" Elias cackled while snapping his fingers.

Lukas's voice turned cooler. "Don't underestimate your opponent. Magnus's gaming company has been

successful for years. Don't overlook him."

"Yeah, don't worry." Elias nodded in agreement. "I'll keep my work and entertainment separate. By the way, |

don't know which hero did this, but I'm so delighted about Magnus's embarrassing incident. Just thinking about

him losing face so spectacularly feels like a cause for celebration. | feel like popping a bottle of champagne to

celebrate!"

"Sure, we can open a bottle of champagne tonight and invite sfriends." Lukas's eyes glittered.

But his eagerness took Elias aback. "Really? This is a rare occasion. For you to suggest a gathering, the sun must

be rising in the west!"

Lukas's tone remained cool. "Whether we gather or not is up to you."

After hanging up, Lukas thought about last night's events and decided to call Reese.
