Chapter 1642: WelcHome.
The city center was a hub of economic and military development. When people thought of this city, they automatically associated
it with advanced technology. However, surprisingly, the city gave off an aura of tranquility and beauty.
The streets were always spotless and organized, with various commercial information scrolling across billboards. It was a
seemingly noiseless city.
The accumulation and sedimentation of technology and culture brought about a unique atmosphere that combined high-end
civilization with historical culture to make it one of the world's top gems.
Selena had just arrived at an estate on the outskirts after spending the night on a plane. She walked out in her pajamas onto the
wooden floor where Leia stood outside her door.
"Madam Selena, why are you up so early?" Leia asked as she heard Selena's footsteps.

Selena hadn't slept much last night; she had finally fallen asleep thanks to Osvaldo's coaxing but woke up shortly after he left.
Perhaps being back in her hometown had made her spirits unusually high-strung.
Shaking her head slightly, Selena replied,"It's nothing; | just need to get ready because I'm going out later."
Leia immediately went downstairs while Selena changed clothes and ate breakfast before heading into the study room.
Not long after, a sports car pulled up outside the estate gates. At the stime, Selena put down her book and walked out of the
room, saying to Leia, "I'm going out for a bit. I'll be back tonight."
Leia was taken aback by this. It was clear that Selena wasn't taking her with her.
"But, Madam... it could be dangerous outside..."
Selena laughed and ruffled the little girl's hair. "It's fine, someone is coming to pickup."
As she spoke those words, a tall figure walked in through the estate gates.
Leia watched as Stanley approached them and felt her eyebrows knotting together tightly. The young master wasn't here and now
Madam was leaving with this man alone...
"Tell the young master I'll be back tonight," Selena said before walking towards Stanley.
Naturally falling half a step behind her, Stanley accompanied Selena as they walked out.
Watching their backs disappear into the distance made Leia so anxious that she scratched at her hair before turning around to call
Osvaldo on the phone.
Once outside of the estate gates, Selena leaned into open car door where an attentive driver waited for them while Stanley
followed closely behind and got in too.

The car started up and drove off towards the palace's direction.
On the car ride, Stanley looked at the young girl across from him and gave a small smile. "Your Highness, welchome."
After a year away, the Queen of Central City had finally returned to her homeland. Selena looked out of the car window at the
familiar scenery passing by and a small smile played on her lips.
The car made its way to the royal court, seemingly entering into an empty land as it drove towards its destination. Finally, it
stopped in front of an exquisite bamboo house.
A middle-aged man dressed in tails stood guard at the door and carefully opened it for Selena as she stepped out of the vehicle.
Tears welled up in Horace's eyes as he greeted her with respect. "Welchome, Your Highness..."
Selena's gaze lingered on his face for a moment before she gave him a small smile. "Long tno see, Horace."
Horace respectfully stepped aside and gestured for her to enter. "Please cinside - Her Majesty has been waiting for you."
As Selena approached the bamboo house entrance, she removed her shoes and walked inside barefoot on snow-white feet.
