There were many things Cain knew about that he kept quiet from the other lords. That's why he acted the way he did. He entertained himself however he wanted to, did whatever he wanted to, and had to deal with the unnecessary demands of the many gods of the many, many, many Realms. If eternal damnation wasn't so harsh, he would have opted to go back, but dealing with the souls of those of unrest and sending them to where they needed to be, sounded way better.
Cain sat on his throne with the symbol of a soul screaming behind him. He kept his head up with the help of his right arm. He smiled at the little Golden Fox as he changed the contents of their deal. He knew exactly what Lee Seng was. How important he was within the Realms, itself. Lee Seng's face was still the most priceless thing Cain couldn't have ever imagined.
Lee Seng's mouth was agape and it looked like his knees were buckling, but the full Human and full Fox Spirit still managed to stand. Beth giggled and clapped, swinging her feet violently as she leaned her head onto her chair.
"Oh my Limbo!" Beth laughed. "Priceless! Such a great punishment for someone like this one! He looks like he's going to pass out from the judgment, m'lord!" Beth hopped onto her feet and ran down the steps and entered the ghastly magical circle. She squatted down, hands on her lap as she tilted her head to look at the shocked Human-Fox Spirit. "Should've kept quiet! It doesn't hurt to be shut up, huh?"
Lee Seng moved for the first time after hearing Cain's updated conditions. He glared at Beth. At first Beth thought of it as nothing, but quickly felt something sinister ooze out of the boy. Out of the soul. She jumped backwards into a defensive stance as Cain let out a single chuckle.
"Should I collect your soul first, ghost? You're as see-through as me. Maybe I can take your spot and giggle and laugh like you." Lee Seng growled.
"You little–" Beth's form shimmered an ethereal green. Her right hand rose up to the sky as her hand became a claw. Green energy quickly gathered as she started to swing at Lee Seng.
"Enough." Cain ordered. The energy died and Beth's mood soured. Her eyes kept themselves glued onto Lee Seng. "Do not play with the conditions, Lee Seng. I can make it worse." Lee Seng turned, looking at Cain. Whatever angry feelings, quickly being suppressed as he looked at Cain with a neutral look. He looked at Cain, trying to hide his anger but Cain noticed it. He noticed it all. The sudden burst of energy from a Soul who shouldn't have had any Energy in it.
"Beth, leave us." Cain ordered.

A bolt of blood flew past Beth's cheek. Ethereal green blood oozed out of it as Beth stood there surprised.
"Don't make me say it again." Cain threatened. Beth bowed and turned, giving one last angry look at Lee Seng before disappearing into thin air. Lee Seng let out a frustrated sigh as he glanced at the direction Beth disappeared. Cain stood up, drawing Lee Seng's attention as he descended the stairs and stopped at the edge of the ghastly magical circle.
"Will you take up my offer, Lee Seng? You will not be punished for what you just did to Beth. I find it quite amusing you had the gull to do that to the Banshee Queen." Cain smiled.
"B-Banshee… Queen?" Lee Seng stuttered.
"Correct. You stand in the Realm of Restless Souls. There are many things that would feast on these souls if conditions were correct. Lady Beth is a banshee. You're so-called 'wives tales' and stories about these things are all true. Banshee's, werewolves, dragons, goblins, ghosts, the list goes on!" Lee Seng nodded. Cain allowed the Fox to absorb the information. After a while, Cain spoke again. "Do you agree with our modified conditions? You will work for me as a Debt Collector until I have to turn you into a stone based on a stupid glimpse of fate that's to occur in the near future. You do your job as a Debt Collector, working directly under me, which never happens because I never need a Debt Collector, and you might live through your time here. How 'bout it?"
'Do I really have a choice?' Lee Seng thought.
"You do. That or something worse." Cain smiled. Lee Seng shook his head and sighed.
"Fine. I'll do it, but can I ask one thing?"
"I'll allow it since you spooked Lady Beth." Cain motioned.
"Why do you want me to be a Debt Collector?" Lee Seng asked.
"Do you know why Lady Beth was so scared of you?" Cain asked. Lee Seng shook his head. "Y'see, when souls come into this world, they don't bear any energy whatsoever. That's because you fall into one of the many categories in Limbo; you're technically still alive so your energy is with your body on Earth." Cain explained. Cain noticed Lee Seng's confusion and continued. "You emitted guttural and deep energy from within your soul while your body and energy are elsewhere." Cain demonstrated with his two hands. "How can your soul do that while your body is over here? That's why I want to make you a Debt Collector now."
"And you plan to do what with that?" Lee Seng asked.
"I only allowed one question. If you want to find out anything else, you'll just have to agree and maybe I'll answer some more questions." Lee Seng bit his lip.
"I guess that means I have no choice. Well, it's not like I have a choice." Lee Seng sighed. He stood up straight and looked at Cain. "I will accept the agreement." Cain's smile lit up as the ghastly magical circle glowed a crimson red and ethereal green color.
"Lee Seng Chang has agreed to being my Debt Collector until the end of February. You work under me, Lord Cain, God of Limbo for two months. You shall be under my beck and call, doing whatever I need you to do under the pretense of collecting the debt of the restless souls in Limbo and those who have passed their time. When your time is up, you will be turned into a rock and sent where you're needed. Then, and only then, will your fate really be up to you." Cain cited the agreement. "And with that, my Debt Collector, let's begin."
Cain snapped his fingers and the energy surged out of the ghastly magical circle, shooting straight into him. Lee Seng's ethereal body pulsed, slowly growing more opaque. Lee Seng's outfit turned from the usual white t shirt and pants combo into a button up shirt with the three top buttons left unbuttoned and sleeves rolled up. His hair shifted from blonde to black with a red streak in the middle. Black leather pants and leather boots. A Fedora hat appeared on his head and an expensive watch on his left wrist.
The red blood and ethereal green energy billowed around Lee Seng's and Cain's feet, revealing the transformed Lee Seng. Cain brushed his chin, checking his new Debit Collector.
"Not bad. Exactly as I pictured. Down to the unbuttoned buttons." Cain smiled. Lee Seng took time to look at himself as Cain looked off to the side all of a sudden. He listened intently to something not hearable to others for a while before looking back at Lee Seng.
"Always another problem." Cain turned his head. He started over towards the large door. "Come with me. We've got work to do."

"Come. You have much to learn."
The door through itself opened as Cain stepped out of the tower itself. Lee Seng followed behind, instantly noticing the sudden change. He didn't know if it was a Limbo effect or if it was Cain, himself. Every instance Lee Seng remembered, it didn't result in a scenery change.
Lee Seng followed Cain through a dilapidated city overtaken by forest. A woman bolted past Lee Seng, quickly catching up to Cain.
"Get back here!" A man shouted. Three men bolted past Lee Seng as a fourth moved straight through Lee Seng.
"Woah!" Lee Seng turned watching a fifth last through him.
"Get back here! You can't run forever!" The man shouted again. Cain stopped in his tracks and watched as the woman was blocked off by rusted cars. She looked around, adrenaline and panic pumping through her veins. The five men Slowed to a stop, blocking the only way out.
"You shouldn't have run. You should've just listened to us. Give yourself up and you'll come out of this satisfied." A man who gave off rustic vibes spoke. Lee Seng came to a stop next to Cain, watching the scene unfold. The woman looked at the five men like she was formulating a plan when Cain spoke.
"Your job is to take their souls." Cain ordered.
"Who?" Lee Seng looked at Cain.
"You heard me. Take all of their souls."
