It felt like forever. Lady Esme sat there, smiling at him while he diverted his eyes from her. She found this fun. She would sometimes torture restless souls with her charms and lustful aura and most would fight her off. They wouldn't last long and she was sure this boy would fall.
"It's rude to not look at someone when they're talking to you, y'know." Lady Esme spoke up. Lee Seng tried to gulp. His throat felt like it was locking up. She crawled over to him, placing a hand on his thigh. He immediately looked at her, red in the face as she saw the line get caught. "I didn't answer your other question yet. I can answer all of your questions… And maybe we can have some fun as well."
"Uhh… Uhhh…" Lee Seng started to feel hot. He tried to fan himself but nothing seemed to work.
"You can't heal your soul because it isn't easy to do such a thing. You've been in your body for your whole life, correct?" Lady Esme sat down in front of him.
"Y-y-yeah." Lee Seng nodded. "Most of my l-life… A-a-a-part of a c-c-couple of in-instances."
"You're not totally accustomed to your spiritual body, then." Lady Esme continued to explain. "Your soul resides in your body. Your spiritual body can leave your body if you are one of the few who's gifted doing that. Although, I think you could do it just fine."
"W-what do you m-mean by that?"
"What do I mean?" Lady Esme tapped her lip as she looked up. "Maybe you'll need to do something for me… And I'll tell you?" She began to crawl on top of him, pinning him down. "Let's play~" Lee Seng froze as Lady Esme pressed herself onto him.
'Argh… It's… Oh… God… Please…' Lee Seng's mind was in pieces. Lust was biting at him and he could feel himself growing. Lady Esme moved towards his neck when the door flew open. Lee Seng pushed Lady Esme off of him, sending her flying as he quickly folded himself over his crotch.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt"I'm back!" Cain announced. He stood in the doorway, smirking. "And it seems you're fine. Trying to get some with Lady Esme?"
"What? N-no!" Lee Seng shook his head. "I would—"
Cain smirked as he moved across the room to the bed. The semi-transparent mercury drapes pulled off to the side, revealing Lee Seng as he desperately tried to hide his hard on.
"Esme, I would refrain from flirting and trying to devour my Debt Collector while he's under my care." Cain looked at her. Lady Esme sat herself up and sighed.
"Come on, Lord Cain!' Lady Esme pouted. "I want to know what its like to sleep with a Human and a Fox Spirit! He's totally into me."
"Because he can't resist your aura like I can." Cain retorted. Lady Esme's pouty face turned to a frown. She folded her arms and looked away like a child throwing a tantrum. "Lee Seng," he turned his attention to his Collector. "Feeling better?"
"Mmm… Y-y-y-yes, C-C— Lord Cain." Lee Seng nodded.
"Good. And you properly addressed me. Remember to do that when you're in front of the other Lords. I don't mind if you just call me Cain." Cain told him.
"Lord Cain!" Lady Esme snapped out of her tantrum pose. "He must always call you Lord! You cannot be on the same level as this-this-this… This Human-Fox Spirit wannabe!"
"Nobody's dared call me Cain. It's always 'Lord Cain,' 'God of Limbo,' 'Limbo Lord Cain,' 'God Cain.' And those who try are on my bad side. This kid as balls and makes me feel like I was all those years ago. Normal, human." Cain told her.
"But you aren't human anymore. You're a god!"
"Esme." Cain's tone shifted. Esme froze, looking down.
"I'm so sorry, Lord Cain. Please accept my apology. I-I won't do it again, m'lord."
"If you're all healed from Lady Esme, let's go somewhere, Lee Seng." Cain diverted his attention to the bent over Lee Seng. "Follow me." He spun around and started back to the door. Lee Seng mumbled under his breath as he fought between hiding his crotch or following Cain's orders. He decided on the latter.
Lee Seng climbed off of the bed and jogged after Cain. Cain didn't bother to wait for Lee Seng as he bolted out the door. The place looked like a mansion. Lee Seng wondered where they were. Cain rounded the corner and went down steps that linked up to a large staircase. A large chandelier hung above the large staircase. The marble flooring and exquisite decor almost made Lee Seng forget what he was doing.
Cain's foot stomped on the bottom of the stairs, reminding Lee Seng to follow. Lee Seng scrambled down the steps as Cain moved ten feet further, turning.
"I've dealt with some personal errands and now I will devote some time to getting you used to your new body. I take it you have little to no experience in your spiritual body?" Cain asked.
"I know basics. Damage done to your spiritual body will hurt a fuck ton more than hurting a physical body." Lee Seng replied. Cain nodded.
"Good you know that. Then I don't need to go over that." Cain lifted his cane and pointed at a large set of doors to Lee Seng's left. "That's where you'll train everyday for the next couple of days. Time works differently in this world versus Earth. It distorts the time and suddenly it's way later than you think it is. That room will freeze time. It'll feel like forever in there but the days will still pass. You'll get enough training done to train your soul. I won't be teaching you much. You'll be taught by someone you've already met."
"Huh? Someone I already know? I don't know much people in here." Lee Seng replied.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm"But you do. You've already met her." Cain replied. "Come out." A small figure stepped out of the darkness and moved over. Lee Seng's face lit up. It was Crow. The woman with the Feathery outfit and mask.
"You!" Lee Seng pointed. "I know you."
"It's been awhile, Lord Cain. Fox." Crow bowed.
"This is the favor I was telling you about, Crow. Since you meddled in my affairs last time, you can make it up by training his soul in the Frozen Chamber." Cain motioned at the door. Crow looked up at Cain.
"Train his soul? You want me to train someone who could pose a threat to you?" Crow asked. Cain scoffed at Crow.
"He's bound to me until the end of February. He knows what will happen if he disobeys me." Cain looked over at Lee Seng. Crow sighed and looked at Lee Seng.
"What did you do this time?" Crow asked. Lee Seng looked at Cain. He wanted to know if Cain would let him say it and Cain didn't answer him.
"Well… I did a lot of things. I just… happened to end up here." Lee Seng loosely answered. Crow simply nodded and looked back at Cain.
"Train him well. He'll need to do Debt Collecting after a couple of days." Cain patted Crow. Crow shrugged his pats off as Cain spun around and started down the large set of doors. "Everything you need will be in there. Don't be afraid to beat him to a pulp, Crow."
"Yes, m'lord." Crow grumbled. When Cain was finally gone, Crow turned her attention onto Lee Seng. "Let's go in. I need to understand your situation more." She moved off to the door on the left, not waiting for Lee Seng to follow. She pulled the door open, icy smoke billowing out. She disappeared into the door, leaving it opened.
"Why is everyone in this place so mysterious?" Lee Seng whispered. He followed after Crow, stepping into the fog. The door shut behind him, drawing his attention. The door disappeared and was replaced with icy smoke. He spun around and didn't notice Crow anywhere. "Where did she go?"
He wandered forward for awhile. There was nothing but fog. He continued to walk, hearing his own steps as the lights grew brighter. The next thing he knew, he was entering a home. The smell of food entered his nostrils and his stomach grumbled.
"I can eat in this form, right?" Lee Seng whispered. An older woman's head popped from the end of the hallway. She had the same hair and feather on top her head. She looked like she was in her mid-forties or fifties. Her gray eyes looked at him, an arm coming out from behind the wall, beckoning him forward.
"Come on, kid." Crow spoke. "You took forever and I made ourselves some breakfast. Let's talk while we eat. Come sit at the table." She pulled back out of view, leaving Lee Seng with his mutter of "sure." The place felt cozy. It reminded him of the cabin back in Daros.
