Lee Seng's energy coursed through his body, quickly repairing the pain he was feeling. He had pushed his energy out and formed the aura. He burned bright as Crow finished her coffee.
'He's certainly different now. I wonder how much he's changed since the last time I've helped him.' Crow observed. She watched the aura flick out like flames, disappearing into specks of wisps. 'His tails aren't even there and he has this much power. Lord Cain wasn't lying. The Fox is interesting.'
"All good to go?" Crow asked. Lee Seng's aura died down as he looked at Crow, nodding. "Good. Let's spar. I was curious why Lord Cain asked me to train you. You've piqued my interest and I want to know how strong you've become." Lee Seng stood up as Crow exploded in feathers, moving twenty-five feet back. Her body formed, setting the mug down next to her.
"Whenever you're ready, Fox." Crow motioned for Lee Seng to make the first move. Lee Seng stood up, activating his aura. His tails fluffed to life, swinging behind him.
[Notice: Soul Gates have been opened for you and Keng. Because you've opened these gates, you've gained the ability to use your abilities in your Spiritual form.]
[Notice: Time works differently here. Your Magical Rewrite class will continue even in this area.]
'So Keng also got it. That means we're really tied by a single soul… I wonder how he's doing.' Lee Seng thought.
"Okay, I'll go first! Feather storm!" Crow lifted her hand up, directing a bunch of black feathers at him. They metallic feathers quickly circled around him, creating a wind vortex. Metallic feathers clanged against each other, firing straight for Lee Seng, cutting him and returning back to the stream of feathers. Lee Seng could feel each metal feather slash at him as his body instantly healed it.
Like it was a part of his body, he didn't have to think much about gravity exploding around him. To his surprise, gravity exploded around him, shaking the entire building. The feathers embedded themselves into everything as Crow slammed into the wall, instantly creating a hole.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt"Oh my—" Lee Seng quickly released the gravity. Crow felt the pressure let up and instantly took it. "Are you—"
Lee Seng felt wind rush straight at him. A metallic feather dagger embedded itself into Lee Seng followed by the rest of the daggers embedded all over the basement. Blood spilled from every opening in Lee seng's body. He let out a cough of blood, dropping to his knees. He looked up at Crow. She was insanely fast.
"Did you worry about me, kid?" Crow asked. She lifted the large feather dagger, looking at it. "You don't need to worry about me. I'm the hardiest human you'll ever come across." She crushed the feather dagger and all of the smaller daggers faded. Lee Seng's let out a gasp as the feathers suddenly disappeared. His whole entire body screamed. His Twin Suns form almost flickered out as he took a moment to register what happened.
"You're strong, kid." Crow told him. "I'll give you that, but even in a spar, you're still worrying about me?" She clicked her tongue and shook her head. "That won't do around here. It's eat or be eaten. Those spirits? They'll see it as a weakness and exploit it. You understand?"
"Y-yeah." Lee Seng answered. He grunted as he lifted his head to look at the small woman. She was probably the quickest person he's ever seen.
'Quicker than me.' Lee Seng thought. Crow exploded in feathers, appearing back in her original position with the broken mug.
"Good thing I finished that." Crow nodded. Lee Seng stood up, pushing the blood off of him with a flick of gravity. The blood splattered around him as he rolled his neck. "Let's go again."
'Activate Echoed Hits.' Lee Seng told the AI. 'Now let's try the other skill.'
[Echoed Hits has been activated.]
Lee Seng darted straight for Crow. The first dart, crushing the ground and releasing two Echoes around him. The three began to dart around, relatively close to each other as Crow's eyes carefully watched them shuffle around.
"Oh, something new." Crow manifested three daggers, throwing them straight for the three Lee Sengs. Lee Seng and the Echoes jumped off to the side, a dagger flying straight through the most right Echo, fizzling it out. Lee Seng and the remaining Echo slid as the Echo burst forward. His hand thrusted outwards, light exploding as the real Lee Seng leapt out of the light swinging a gravity-infused punch straight for Crow.
Crow went for a block, feathers pulling to her arms as Lee Seng landed the punch. The punch didn't seem to have too much strength in it. Lee Seng began to start another punch when a delayed hit pushed her backwards. Lee Seng swung another punch and started another, watching the Echoed Hits push her defensive form out even more. Lee Seng punched again, breaking through the shield and watched as the Echoed Hit flew straight for Crow's face.
Crow went tumbling backwards as two Echoes stood next to him. The metallic Crow woman recovered quickly, launching daggers straight for the three Lee Sengs. The three Lee Sengs swatted in unison, a wall of gravity pushing the daggers in one direction. Crow flicked her finger and watched as the daggers pulled back into her. She let out a smile as she held three more daggers in between her fingers.
"Double Shot." Crow released the daggers and watched as they doubled speed. They flew straight through the three Lee Sengs, creating a large opening in the real Lee Seng, who stood in the middle. Double the feathers appeared behind him as Crow flicked her wrist. The daggers flew back towards her in a cone, piercing Lee Seng once more.
Crow flashed forward, swinging the dagger straight for Lee Seng's neck. A smirk grew on his face.
'What?' Crow managed to think before Lee Seng's hand grabbed her arm and tossed her away from him. Lee Seng turned and raised his hand as the wounds quickly repaired itself.
"Experimentation Number Two: Will it Echo my ranged hits?" Lee Seng asked aloud. Three gravity shots fired off towards the airborne Crow. Tiny feathers appeared around her as she pulled them towards her. The first two shots went wide, missing. The third hit Crow sending her flying int othe wall. Three loud explosions were heard followed by another triple set of explosions.
'Theory Two correct.' Lee Seng lifted his free hand to heal himself. 'Echoed Hits can be turned on and off. It uses a small amount of Energy each time I actually try to hit someone, but triggers off of any damage I deal.'
"That's actually useful." Lee Seng smiled. The sound of whooshing caught his attention too late as he thought to himself. Three daggers embedded themselves into his chest, pushing him backwards as the sound of metal on metal grew loud. The screechinmg metal distorted Lee Seng's vision and hearing as the five metal feathers pulled out.
Crow appeared inches away from Lee Seng, swinging a dagger straight for his throat, again.

Lee Seng's tails wrapped around his left, shielding him instantly. Crow gritted her teeth as she couldn't quite push through. Crow had speed and power over Lee Seng when it came to ranged fights. Lee Seng was hybrid. Well, that's what Crow gathered in a short matter of time. He was accustomed to fighting close up while his ranged attacks only packed a punch.
'He has a long way to go before he's a good mid-ranged fighter.' Crow thought. The tails shoved her backwards, sailing her through the air as Lee Seng managed to snap out of the dizziness. His tails pulled back into place as Crow flicked her finger, again. The embedded feathers pulled out, spilling more blood.
'She's not giving me time to breathe.' Lee Seng gasped. 'She's really fast so she can keep her distance. I've been catching her with powerful hits, but she isn't scared that I get in her face. What do I do? What other skills do I have at my disposal?'
[List of Skills Available:
Tail Manipulation
Shapeshift
Light Manipulation
Blessed Fox-Fire
These are all at your disposal.]
'That's right.' Lee Seng dodged another set of daggers. 'I have Fox-Fires and Light at my disposal. Heal.' His wounds closed. If he had time to worry about appeareances, he would've noticed his nice outfit was ruined. 'Fox-fire.' He moved in front of him. Golden flames ignited in the space around him as Crow readied three more daggers.
'What is he planning now?' Crow wondered. She tossed the three daggers and watched them sail straight through three Fox-fires. The fox-fires exploded, pushing the Fox-fires away. 'They're infused with gravity. The Fox is able to do that? I've heard of the power of Three-tailed foxes and this one doesn't add up…'
"Heed my word, my Crow…" Cain's voice echoed in her head. "Lee Seng Chang is both human and Fox Spirit. He isn't the first of his kind but he's the first Biohuman infused with the essence of a Fox Spirit. Do not underestimate him. Use that beautiful head of yours to understand him. Train him well so he won't be struck with so much emotion."
