Chapter 814 Chapter 814 Hide and Seek
"..." Our bored gamer sat in the empty chair which balanced the scales in the dining table. Eight boys versus eight girls. This was how it was meant to be in the first place.
Clark then ate in silence. Or at least that was what his plan was before he was interrogated once more on what the House Master wanted him for.
"So spill the beans, Theo. We have all the time in the world." The boys were particularly curious while the same could not be said to the girls.
Most of the ladies threw daggers of discomfort from their eyes as each passing second has made their bodies hot and ready.
Each of them was fully aware that this change has come upon because of the arrival and close proximity of our very own protagonist.
"There's nothing to tell. The House Master just wanted me to remind everyone about his house rules and that you should read them before going to sleep tonight."
Clark offered a lousy lie but he did not care one bit about it at all. He was more focusing on the future especially on how he would face his family and friends once he got out of here someday.
'I'm fucked.' Our bored gamer noted helplessly. Nevertheless, he did not let this worry affect his appetite at all. Clark ate and did his best to keep a lower profile than before.
He was going to ace this system requirement and win this game no matter what. Our avid gamer finished his meal and locked himself in the boy's room as usual.
The night passed quickly thereafter.

The second day in the House of Fame started differently from the last.
"DING!"
"DING!"
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt"DING!" A loud annoying sound woke up everyone at exactly 7 o'clock in the morning. It did not stop before all 16 house guests finally moved from their beds.
"FUCK! What is that noise?!" Joel cursed. It was easy to see that he loved long sleeps like our very own protagonist.
"Shut up. Move your ass or the House Master will kick that ass from his place." Edward chastised his fellow house guest.
Everyone then got up, took a bath, and cooked a meal for their breakfast. It did not need telling that they also shared their humble meal together.
"Fish again? Is there no other meat in this house?" Joel complained even when his mouth was full of food. It was obvious that this simple fish dish was cooked so well for his taste.
"How can you cook this good, Dianne? I'd take you as my wife in a heartbeat!" Edward praised.
"I just love to cook. I'm glad everyone likes it." Dianne replied with a blush on her face. She did not comment on Edward's second sentence though.
"You're the best, Dianne!" Caitlyn said happily. More small talks happened but as time went on, the girls would threw subtle glances unto our bored gamer.
It was clear that his effect on them was still as strong as ever.

"DING!" Once breakfast was done, an important announcement came from the House Master himself.
"Good morning, house guests! Welcome to the House of Fame. I hope everyone is comfortable and well in my house." The House Master began.
"We love it in here, House Master!"
"This house is big and luxurious!"
"Thank you for having us, House Master!"
.
..
...
Everyone replied excitedly but our avid gamer just sat there in peace. No matter how this game went, he knew that he would win this in the end with the help of his trusted dog Max.
Thus, there was no use for him to hug the House Master's thigh like his other house guests was doing.
"I'm glad to hear that. Now i shall inform you of your weekly quest that would start from today until the end of this week. This game is called..."
The House Master continued and explained about its details. There were 100 gold coins scattered around the house and the house guests would simply search for them.
The House Master started an easy weekly quest which comforted everyone.
"Alright! We can do this!" The loud Caitlyn encouraged her fellows.
"I'll treat the one who can find the most gold coins with a kiss!" Megan did her own kind of encouragement also.
"Megan's first kiss in the house will be mine!" One of the boys vowed. After that, the hunt for the hundred gold coins finally commenced.
"I found one!"
"Me too!"
"One gold coin for me also!" Three was found immediately and more followed thereafter.
'This is child's play.' Our bored gamer commented inside. He shook his head but went with the process of searching like the other house guests.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm"DING!"

'Hmmm... This title is handy.' Clark mused. He closed his eyes and wished to find the location of the 100 gold coins.
And just like that, he saw each of them clearly even without opening his eyes at all. This skill was certainly op!
'Nah... Better to just let the others work.' Our bored gamer smiled and continued to act in a play. He got 10 gold coins fast and kept them in his pocket. He made sure to find the most obvious ones of the 100.
'This should be more than enough to do my part.' Clark decided. He was about to go inside the house once more.
Our bored gamer would only pass by the huge swimming pool and into the house. Unfortunately for him, someone unexpected was already waiting for him by the entrance.
"This is not good. Not good at all." Clark whispered when he stopped 3 steps before this particular house guest.
