Chapter 921 Chapter 921 And Another One
One month later.
"I hear that the Coiling Dragon Sect is going to recruit new disciples into their fold next week. I'm gonna send my sons and daughters to all try their luck. Who knows?
Maybe they have a talent to become immortals someday!" A heavily inebriated man said to his fellows.
This wine shop was famous for gossips and a thing this big was already a rather popular topic in the past few days.
"Really?! If i remember correctly, the Coiling Dragon Sect has not opened their gates for more than 50 years already. I wonder what happened to them in the first place."
Another drunkard wondered out loud. One should know that the details behind this self imposed closure still remained a mystery to this day.
Most had guessed that the sect had offended a formidable opponent while others thought that the sect was merely planning something big behind closed doors.
There were myriad of conjectures to be found around but nothing substantial ever came into the open.
"Does it matter? I'm going to volunteer myself into the Coiling Dragon Sect! I'll be content to be their cook if only i can get the chance to see many immortal women in this lifetime!"
A third man laughed and emptied his cup of wine with a big smile on his face.

Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt Another month passed and the original number of the sect disciples of merely 500 more or less has now been increased to 3,500 souls.
Three thousand good seedlings had been found in the sect recruitment and it can been seen that the recent several decades had bore a great harvest in the immediate surrounding of the sect.
This number may seem much but it was nothing really since the amount of all that had tested for the sect entrance has reached more than 100,000 young ones in total.
After everything was all said and done, 3,000 teens all began their training into the Coiling Dragon Sect.
Days, weeks, and seasons passed in time. In a blink of an eye, one year has already made its mark into the history of this world.
This much time was enough for these disciples to know each other. More than that, everyone was able to get a common knowledge in their studies.
They knew a weird one armed young man who was set in his ways and training.
"Look at the fool! His going into his endless regimen once again!"
"I have never seen him stop at all ever since i started living in this sect."
"Some of our co disciples had tried talking to him before but the fool never answers."
"I feel sorry for him. There must be something wrong in his head."
.
..
...
Normal people talked about other people and this was what separated the true genius from the rest. Clark was nothing of the sort of course since he was still being diligent on the task at hand.
He was of course the person that everyone was referring to at this time of the day. The job was not done and so he continued to hold a wooden spear with his remaining hand.
"WHOOSH!"
"WHOOSH!"
"WHOOSH!" The actions done was simple enough. In fact there was only three moves to the sequence.
Our bored gamer would stand tall, thrust his spear second, and finally pull back to repeat step the first step once more.
This endless cycle would continue from dawn to dusk. If one was observant enough, they would easily notice that our good gamer took no food, water, or rest whatsoever.
This was the only thing he did since he had conquered this sect as his from 1 year plus prior. Alas, only the original 500 plus members of the Coiling Dragon Sect knew of his true identity.
Only a fool would reveal this information unto anyone of course.
"It's been a while, Old Demon. I'm quite surprised to find you so easily today." A beggar in dirty clothes and a more disheveled appearance just appeared from nowhere.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmHe smelled like the sewers but looked like an immovable tree. The old man was probably 6 foot 8 inches tall but was thick as a bear.
His impressive muscles rippled around his form and yet his old face remained constant through it all. The long white hair on his head was a mess to say the least.
"THUD!" The wooden spear finally stopped its infinite repetition for the first time in more than 1 year.
Our bored gamer looked towards his unwanted visitor and inspected the old man from head to foot.
"You have stagnated in strength, Little Small. I'm disappointed in you." Clark stated frankly. He shook his head and came right back into practice in one fluid motion.
"Not everyone can be as stubborn as you, Old Demon. I am content with what i have reached in this life." The old man who was named Little Small replied.
He did not take offense at all from the demeaning address he got.
If there was someone in this world who was qualified to say that he was not only little but also small then it would be this old demon right here.
Little Small could not even imagine how much older this Old Demon was than him. His legend was already long past the moment he started his path in cultivation.
"You keep trying to convince yourself with that nonsense. In truth, you have merely given up on yourself." Clark was merciless in his words. He did not even try holding back at all.
"..." To this, Little Small could only honor this fact with silence.
It was extremely hard to remain steadfast on this endless quest when there was precious tiny improvements to be found after several million years of closed door cultivation.
Perhaps only the most stubborn of fellows could persevere to the end. For most, it was an impossible dream.
If there was someone on this world who could accomplish that then this Old Demon was of course one amongst a pitiful few.
