Cynthia could sense his aloofness, and smiled awkwardly. "Let's wait for Rosalie and her husband to order together." She specifically emphasized the address "husband", as if it were a reminder to Theodore.

When Rosalie and Sebastian arrived at a quiet place, she stopped in her tracks.

"Seb, are you upset in any way?" She added in all seriousness "Tellthe truth". After a moment's silence, Sebastian

nodded. To be honest, I'm a little upset to bump into your ex-husband here. You're even pregnant with his child. I don't feel comfortable about that at all." Sebastian looked down.

"I'm sorry, Rose. I know this isn't your fault." He walked to her, and held her hand.

"I said I'm uncomfortable about it because I feel indignant for you, not because I'm judging you. I'm sure you were hunt very deeply by him. He and that woman probably behaved inappropriately while you were still married to him, right?"
