436 Unexpected Resistance
Belial and the sun cosmic spirit walked out of the ranks of their soldiers into the open field where the lone figure was approaching. Both wore stern and cold looks as they knew an intense battle was about to
“You speak boldly for someone unknown. Do you have no respect for your fellow deities?” Belial said coldly but Alex laughed it off as if his words are air.
His cold eyes shifted to the figure dressed in golden armor and frowned. Beings and deities of this world are unique just like the God of death.
In a mortal world like this, with a mortal body, all he can do is exert dominance to create fear.
He is the unknown and the enemy is naturally cautious and scared of him. All he needs to do is cement the images in their heads and their fighting spirit will definitely drop drastically.
“Fellow deities? Outside this little god-breeding realm, there are gods, true gods, deities, demon Lords, commandments, and Sins. Mere gods like you cannot compare to a sin” Alex snorted disdainfully as black flames erupted from both hands.
Black flames core: Void fire!
Buzz!
The aura of the man completely changed as shockwaves were sent across the battlefield but the two deities of the empire stood unfazed not because they weren’t impressed but because they have come across two monsters of this level before and they survived somehow. Facing a third one doesn’t really scare the anymore.

“Together?” the cosmic spirit of the sun asked with a raised eyebrow and Belial sighed.
“We don’t have a choice, do we?”
Bang!
Saying this Belial’s figure vanished and appeared right in front of Alex with his hand on the hilt of his blade. His speed stunned Alex since he wasn’t expecting such a decisive move in an instant.
“There is a reason I am called the God of sword,” Belial said in a cold tone as his blade was like a bright blue light, splitting the world as it moved.
Peng!
Belial shivered in fear as he watched his blade stuck in between the fingers of the man he was meant to kill with one stroke.
Alex’s fingers were black and from it, black scales spread across his body at a slow but visible rate.
Statue martial technique: Black Flame armor.
“There is a reason why your identity means nothing to me” Alex sneered in a disdainful tone as his fist shot forward like a missile, tearing through everything in its path as it raced forward.
Xiu!
All Alex could see was a bright golden light shooting in his direction at a staggering speed.
Boom!
Alex was blown into the air but the pain he felt wasn’t much due to the black-scaled armor. Even then he felt threatened by the fact that there is someone capable of overwhelming him in terms of brute strength outside the sin of greed who has the physique of a dragon.
Hmph!
The Cosmic spirit of the sun snorted disdainfully while gazing at the airborne figure and didn’t attempt to chase. His gaze quickly shifted to Belial and a disdainful look appeared on his face. The latest_epi_sodes are on_the (f)ir(e).net
“Your bad habit of testing the enemy’s strength will be the death of you one day,” he said and Belial simply gave an embarrassed smile.
“Since you understand, let’s deal with this man with all we have got!” the sun cosmic spirit said as he looked in the direction of the sky and saw Alex standing in mid-air with his hands shoved into his pocket.
Belial and The sun’s cosmic spirit could see Alex had no intentions of attacking yet. He watched the sun cosmic spirit with curiosity in his eyes.
“You remind me of him... But a weaker version of him” Alex said as he waved his hand casually and a scorching aura exploded from his body, surging madly.
This cosmic spirit is powerful but his power output was still inferior to the power of the sun God Aten!
A false sun appeared behind him shining brightly while his figure descended from above like a supreme being descending amongst mortals.
“Come, I am ready to kill you all now,” Alex said in a domineering tone as his killing intent raged madly.
Buzz!
Belial raced forward with a cold look in his eyes! His body was as quick as light but he went almost unnoticeable like a shadow.

“Nothing gets past these eyes,” Alex said with a cold gaze as he casually pointed at Belial’s location and the false sun began descending.
Buzzzzz!
Belial’s frowned as he felt like an entire scorching planet was descending on him but he maintained a calm look on his face. After staying in this world for over a thousand years and accumulating the faith of mortals, he is far stronger than he used to be!
Universe sundering slash!
Holding tightly to the hilt of his blade, his power surged uncontrollably before he unsheathed!
It felt like the world paused as every single movement he made was visible to everyone. It seemed like a crouching figure unsheathing and sheathing his blade casually!
Boom!
The world split in two as the sword light danced viciously before smashing into the fiery sun.
Boom!
Shockwaves erupted across the world as the sword light kept digging its way through the bright sun.
“There is nothing I cannot cut!” Belial said in a calm and decisive tone which even made Alex frown.
The problem with this slash was that it wasn’t cutting, instead, it was erasing everything in its path as if it never existed.
In the presence of such power most men will tremble in fear but this time it was Belial who shivered with deep fear imprinted on his face.
What he saw was Alex refusing to move from his position even after his false sun was split in two. Instead, he raised his bare hand to catch the attack.
