After the meal, Maja endured the rigorous training regime. The whip cracked at a pace set by 003, who seemed to

target her with every lashing. Though Maja dodged clumsily, she could tell that 003 wasn’t singling her out

intentionally.

Two days later, the sound of a car engine outside signaled the return of K

Maja’s expression shifted, she was eager to see just who this elusive K was and what he looked like

“You should thank the leader. You’re lucky to be alive, even if it means using a wheelchair. Your medical skills will

ensure you still have a place here”

002 was filled with resentment but dared not defy K’s command.

Her eyes, burning with fury, fixed on Maja.

“Thank you, leader”

The words were hard for her to utter, tainted with bitterness and humiliation.
