159 Their Plans (2)
“Do you still need more time? You know nothing won’t change with you delaying this further, right?” The flying humanoid demon spoke out loud as Blake hadn’t given him a single answer of agreeing or rejecting the contract even after a couple of minutes.
‘Though it will change soon after the hunters make their way here. Just a little bit more time is all they need.’ The flying humanoid demon thought in his head.
Blake just needed a little more time to finish the rune formation with his feet as drawing demonic runes with his feet was simply hard due to the nature of the demonic runes that didn’t tolerate even a slight deviation from the original runes.
That was also one of the reasons the native humanoid demons in the first demon realm took so long to draw their runes compared to Blake, Vera, or even the flying humanoid demons that were much more familiar with nether.
How to bend nether, how much nether should they pour from themselves, and how to make sure the nether they wrote with their fingers were the exact demonic runes they wanted to draw.
Hence why drawing those demonic runes with his feet was simply a complicated feat that his feet needed to beat.
If Blake were to use his hand and draw the runes, then he would have finished by the time it took him to read halfway through the contract, but now, a lot more time had been spent and Blake began to worry that the flying humanoid demon would make his move soon.
Blake wasn’t wrong when he thought that the flying humanoid demon would not be patient enough to wait for him wasting and stalling for so much time. But Blake was wrong when he thought that the flying humanoid demon would make the actual first move.
While Blake was pretending to read all over the contract again while his feet were almost done with the rune formations, Blake’s ears began to fill with sounds from the forest.

It didn’t take long for other humanoid demons, the hunters that were originally sent to hunt him and Robus had arrived at the scene. And another 10 seconds were all that it took for Blake and Robus to be encircled once again by the mass of humanoid demons.
“Come on, now. Your time is up! Sign it and I will let you and your friend live!” The flying humanoid demon shouted with glee as he saw the humanoid demon hunters under him had arrived and he finally had Blake in the grasp of his hands.
Or so he thought.
“Yes, yes, I will sign my name.”
Blake’s answer reached the flying humanoid demon’s ears and his face soon lit up with visible excitement upon receiving new, strong, and capable minions.
“You’ll really promise me you won’t hurt me and my friend, right?”
“Yes. I will be needing you and your friend to do my bidding. Why would I kill you two?”
“Okay then.”
Blake’s finger then very slowly moved to the bottom of the page, towards the empty box beside the filled one.
“Make sure you use nether to write your name,” The flying humanoid demon reminded once again.
“Yes, yes.”
Blake took several deep breaths as if he was very hesitant to write his name on the empty box below, which the flying humanoid demon understood as Blake would be giving himself away to him.
So he didn’t say anything and just watched as the unknown jet-black humanoid demon would finally fall to his hands where he could then learn the annoying yet dangerous spell that the jet-black humanoid demon used while also getting a dependable lackey.
“Alright,” Blake muttered out loud before releasing a huge sigh.
Blake had finished drawing the rune formation.
And it was time for him to end the flying humanoid demon’s life.
Blake then poured nether in his finger that was right on top of the empty box that would give his life away to another demon.
However, instead of moving his finger slowly and writing his name, Blake began writing as fast as demonly possible and drew the runes to the second realm darkness bullet spell.
With the distance between Blake and the flying humanoid demon, the flying humanoid demon couldn’t really see what Blake was writing on the demon contract.
However, just after a second had passed was enough to tell the flying humanoid that whatever Blake was writing wasn’t his name.
“What are you trying to do? You know you won’t be able to do anything even with your annoying spe-”
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmThe flying humanoid demon’s words were cut off when he finally saw Blake raise his hand towards him and showed a glowing set of runes right in front of his hand.
But the real reason why the flying humanoid demon froze in place wasn’t because of the sneak attack that Blake was trying to do.
It was the fact that he could feel the nether that was being sucked by the floating and glowing set of runes in front of the jet-black humanoid demon’s hands.
Without a doubt, the flying humanoid demon was able to determine that the annoying spell that the jet-black humanoid demon had cast was nothing in comparison to the current spell that the jet-black humanoid demon was casting.
If the two were to be compared, it was like comparing being hit by a palm-sized water balloon and being hit by the huge man-sized buckets in waterparks
And his body and mind being frozen was a natural reaction to it.
Meanwhile, the one that had cast the spell wasn’t in any better condition than being frozen.
Blake had spent a lot of his nether to cast the myriad of darkness tendril spells consecutively, and his nether was barely able to be called half the maximum capacity.
Although that being the case, Blake still forced himself to use the second realm spell, which would take 3/4 of his whole nether capacity.
And the result of such reckless behavior was not left unpunished.
His whole body started losing strength starting from his knees that could barely stand, his hands even found it hard to stay still and aim at the target in the sky.
Blake spent all his energy, focus, and willpower to keep himself standing and his hand pointed at the flying humanoid demon.
He couldn’t let his hand shift elsewhere as the second realm darkness bullet spell, his very last trump card, his largest and the most dangerous bet in his life as a demon, would miss the flying humanoid demon if his hand were to move.
