The pack was friendlier than I had expected. I'm not entirely sure where the bad reputation of this pack has cfrom, it was unjustified in my opinion. Even Alpha Hector's frosty exterior was starting to thaw the longer I remain.. But I still couldn't get my head around how he couldn't seem to recognise the bond between us. It's as if he was immune to it. I He doesn't even bat an eyelid as I enter a room or when I purposely get too close to him. A sly touch here or there....his face registers no reaction to the tingles that must be erupting on his arms. Nothing.

Maybe it's my punishment in life to never feel a full mate bond.
