Chapter 371 Tell Me About The Invitation Stones
The exotic dance between Lenny and Glenn lasted through the entire night.
Considering both their strengths, this was expected.
Even when Ella had offered Lenny her maids, he had still held back; after all, those were humans, and he always felt as if Ella was soon to stab him from behind, leaving him always on guard.
He was surprisingly right about that.
However, with Glenn, it was different.
He really did not understand why she was so infatuated with him, but he also did not mind it.
Glenn was an elder witch.
This meant that she could produce negative magic that was so formidable that it could stand against a great demon.
Considering how useful she currently was, Lenny had to admit that she was the most valuable weapon in his arsenal.
Their naked Tango had seen to the destruction of the pool area.
Glenn, too, had not held back. There were now little craters all over the pool area.
Their aggressive slam of private parts had echoed throughout the building, keeping the servants awake throughout the night.
Yet no one dared interrupt them.
Like lions trying to show who was boss, their slam against each other was a fight for dominance, and the singing moans that echoed off the walls were only challenged by the slap of skin against each other.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtAs both of them lay on the hard, broken floor, breathing heavy and uneven, Glenn could not help but give a broad smile.
"I won!" She muttered.
Lenny scoffed at that phrase.
"Not even close."
"Really? You are strong, but before an Elder Witch, trust me, you are nothing."
"Then why is movement difficult for you?"
"I'm just getting myself together. I don't know if you realized this, but you were my first. Although not Ciri's first, definitely Glenn's."
Lenny nodded as he stretched a bit, and then he sat up right.
From their exotic battle, there were bruises all over his skin, and her long fingers had dug into him at different points, bleeding him.
However, he managed to sit up right like it was nothing.
What's more, the scars she left on his skin were already mending themselves before her eyes.
"You are a monster!" She muttered.
"Thank you for the compliment!" Lenny chuckled a bit.
However, his face suddenly became serious.
"Now that that is out of the way, I need you to tell me everything you know about the invitation stones."
Glenn shook her head. "Really? Like right now!?"
The look on Lenny's face made her understand that what she had asked was a very rhetorical question.
With much difficulty, she sat up right; her beautiful body was bruised at different points, and she found it really difficult to close her legs as a result of all that pounding.
"There is not much I know about the Invitation Stones, just a little from what Ciri taught all her junior witches.
I might have inherited her body, but I did not inherit all her memories; only bits and fragments were left behind."
Lenny nodded. "It doesn't matter. Anything you know might be of importance later on."
She nodded. "The Invitation Stones were handled by four witches and four wizards. All of whom were of the elder rank.
Most of them were from religious organizations, and some were from cults that worshipped demons and devils.
The aim was to use the stones to bring about the apocalypse in the world.
Ciri did not want this, but Ella had her grip on her life and forced her to agree and participate.
Ella's goal was to allow the demons in and then, after a while, use the stones and invite the fallen angels from Purgatory.
It was supposed to be an epic battle between good and evil in an attempt to impress Heaven and the One that sits above all.
However, on the scheduled day of the apocalypse, on the night of the Blood Moon, something happened.
Just as the portals opened across the world, an epic battle took place far off in space.
It was a battle that no one expected.
Humans were not able to feel it, as they did not have a sense of observing cosmic power.
But those who did observed that battle. At least to the best of their ability."
Lenny's attention was focused on her.
After hearing Old Man Buckle's story, he was sure that he knew the battle she was talking about.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmLenny wanted to ask, as his curiosity had peaked.
However, Glenn did not intend to hide the knowledge from him in the first place.
"This was the battle between the Morningstar and the other Divines."
"Wait!" Lenny paused. "When you say other divines, what do you mean?"
"The Morningstar faced off against his Hell Kings and the other gods."
"You mean the nine kings of Hell?"
Glenn nodded.
"But what of the other gods? What do you mean by other gods? How many of them?"
Glenn looked at his puzzled look and could not help but chuckle a bit, and then her face suddenly became serious.
"It was the Morningstar against all the gods. For a specific number, I don't know. They were many.
They had planned to take his divinity as he orchestrated the Apocalypse on earth.
For us, the battle had only been an instant, but I hear that at that level of power, battles can actually last for more than a thousand years.
Their sense of time is just very different.
The energy wave from that battle was what broke Ciri and her junior sisters free from Ella's control.
And in that split second, when it did, Ciri had thought of another plan.
She tried to use the gathered invitation stones for herself."
"To increase her power?" Lenny asked.
Glenn nodded. "Yes, to increase her power and get revenge on Ella. However, knowledge about the next stage of a witch's power was not knowledge Ciri had access to. She was not aware of the heavenly tribulation that was to come with it. Naturally, she was unprepared for it, and her soul was evaporated from her body."
