Max smoked with a victorious smile playing on his thin lips.

Waverly, on the other hand, looked as if she was only half-alive. She could not hold it any longer and got out of his

"I'm going to shower."

Waverly picked up her clothes and went to the bathroom. Shutting the door behind her, her expression contorted

into sheer disgust.

She glared at the full-body mirror in front of her. She saw hickeys on her fair skin and clenched her fists tightly.

He brushed his arm against his sleeve before bending over to carry Waverly in his arms and into his car before

driving away.
