Erotic RPG: I am in the Game world, But My Heroines are Villainesses
Chapter 269 Academy Life 6
Inside the bustling library, amidst rows of bookshelves and studious individuals, a girl and a young man stood in contemplation.
"U-Um... I think this one is more suitable," the girl hesitantly pointed her finger towards a particular book, her eyes filled with anticipation.
"I see," the young man responded, reaching for the chosen book titled "Winds of Arcana." As his fingers traced the title, he murmured to himself, absorbing the essence of the words. "So, you believe this book will aid our research?" He turned his gaze towards the girl, seeking confirmation but also observing her body language.
"Y-Yes," she replied, her voice infused with both hope and uncertainty, coming from her timidness.
"Very well," the young man nodded, placing the book delicately on top of a growing pile beside them. "Lumina, please transport these books to the section we'll be working in."
At his command, the books vanished from their current location, whisked away by an unseen force. With their task complete, the two individuals left the area, ready to delve into their research.
*******
As Callius and Elara had chosen their books, they sat in the corner room of the library reserved for two people that wanted to discuss things.
Of course, as such a prestigious academy, they had soundproof magic inside the rooms.
Behind her timid façade, Elara's gaze was always on Callius, watching his little movements, his habits. Trying to make his profile based on his actions.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtAll right, let's start with the assigned element: wind," Callius began, flipping open a book on elemental affinities. Elara leaned in, her eyes scanning the pages intently. In a way, those books were those that she recommended, so she knew what they already contained.
'Now, let's see your learning capabilities.'
Just like that, she started explaining things about wind magic and other stuff from the start to Callius, observing his reactions.
They delved into the characteristics of wind magic, exploring its association with agility, speed, and mobility. As they discussed the various applications of wind spells, Elara's excitement grew.
*******
"I've always been fascinated by the way wind can manipulate objects and create powerful gusts," Elara shared, her voice filled with enthusiasm.
"I think I want to focus on the 'Airweaver' spell. It harnesses the raw power of the wind to a simple pattern, forming constructs or illusions made entirely of wind to deceive, distract, or create artful displays."
Hearing this, I nodded my head in response while attentively listening to Elara's words.
In a way, this study session proved to be pretty useful since, as I have said before, my access to magic was pretty much limited. And adding that I had just recently awakened my core once again, I didn't have the time to study different types of magic firsthand.
Thus, seeing someone proficient in trying to show wind magic to me was inspiring at the same time, pretty much helping me to understand how she moved her mana.
'I want to try this spell. But, let's contain for now.' I thought, listening to the girl talking.
"What do you think?" Elara turned her gaze to me as she asked.
'Airweaver, huh? It was quite an advanced spell for the beginning of the game.' I thought, referring to the game.
"It is a good spell for a derivative. Going with this one shouldn't be a problem." I answered as I waved my hands.
"Then, we should start researching the spell." At this point, Elara had already lost the timidness she had been showing outside.
As we discussed the characteristics and properties of magic, I found myself captivated by the small but funny details.
Thanks to Airweaver, being a relatively complex spell and something that required precise mana control rather than a strong mana input, it was filled with elegance, making me satisfied.
Observing the way she had used her core while casting the spell, those flickering little winds moving around me, creating a small display of illusion in my eyes, made me remember a technique of the past.
'So, this is how wind magic works… Different from eruptive and chaotic fire mana, this one rather has a swift and saponaceous feeling.' I thought as I observed her magic.
Learning new things was always a fun aspect, adding colors to my life.
Elara's passion and dedication were evident in every word she spoke, and I found that funny, to be honest.
I knew it was all an act, but it was pretty realistic.
Since there are those types that would comfortable after spending some time with them and on the subject they were interested in.
In a way, even though she was a spy, it seemed like she really loved using the wind magic and exploring it.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm"Now, with this, I think it is enough for you to, refer to your report for the first part?" Elara asked as we finished discussing the Airweaver and its applications.
"That is pretty good fur now," I answered, however, I had something in my mind.
"Then we should start discussing fire magic now." She said as she looked at me with an ignited gaze. "I always wondered how fire magic worked." She added with an excited expression, but I knew it was all a façade.
'Showing that you are interested in someone else's interest to make them feel close to you… Crafty.' I thought as I also put a fake smile on my face.
"Fire magic is a fascinating element," I replied, my own curiosity piqued. "Its intensity and power can be both mesmerizing and dangerous." With those words, I opened the book we had chosen and started reading the contents inside.
As I had explained how things worked to her, I also learned everything slowly, building my affinity with the fire magic itself.
Though, in a way, she was looking for information from me, I was not getting anything from this exchange either.
'Hearing her opinions as a wind mage might be good for my magic.' With that thought, we both started discussing fire magic as time went on….
