140 Have I Told You How Much I Love You? 2
She still treated him the same way she did ever since his arrival, but without the intimate gestures or glances shared between them. Anyway, this was better than being completely ignored by her again.
Meanwhile, the moment Tang Moyu stepped inside the guest house where Qin Jiran— Feng Tianyi was staying, her nose was assaulted by the delicious aroma of home-cooked pasta.
"Mommy! We harvested the tomatoes this morning with Uncle Ji!" Little Star called out to her as soon as they spotted her at the doorway. The girl rushed over to her and gave her a hug, while Hunter barked?at her. Xiao Bao on the other hand was sitting on the kitchen counter, licking the cream on his fingers.
Passing her laptop bag and files to Auntie Lu,?who would bring it back to the main house, Tang Moyu sauntered towards the kitchen to see what they had cooked for dinner tonight.
"Really? Is that why we're having pasta tonight?" She asked her daughter as she took a seat on a stool near the kitchen counter.
"En! We picked so many tomatoes. They were ripe enough, so Uncle Ji decided to make some 'Smitty' tonight!" Little Star beamed with a bright smile.

"Wow. 'Smitty' for dinner? Isn't that your favorite?" She smiled as her daughter bobbed her head in agreement. "But darling, it's called spaghetti not 'smitty'. How many times should Mommy correct you?"
She then heard Feng Tianyi laugh from the other side of the counter. He wheeled himself closer and wiped his hands dry with a clean washcloth.
"I also tried correcting her earlier. She insisted that it is 'Smitty ' and not spaghetti." He told her.
"Mommy,?Little Star and I helped Uncle Ji cook dinner." Xiao Bao said proudly with some sweet cream sticking on his chubby cheeks.
"Did you?" Tang Moyu looked at Feng Tianyi who just smiled back at her. "Did they behave well today? I hope they didn't cause you any trouble."
Though her home had enough people to look after the twins, Xiao Bao and Little Star still insisted on accompanying their favorite Uncle Ji here at the guest house.
"I assure you, they are little angels, Moyu." Feng Tianyi winked at Little Star, who pouted her cheek in return. "Except a little naughtiness from our resident drama queen here."
Tang Moyu gasped and eyed her daughter who had crossed her tiny arms over her chest and harrumphed at her Uncle Ji.
"Darling, what did you do this time?" She asked, hoping nothing serious had happened while she wasn't around.
"Mommy, Little Star made a smelly joke after farting next to Uncle Yan." He then proceeded to pinch his nose and wave his hand, as if attempting to disperse the scent around him.
Tang Moyu, who rarely allowed herself to laugh, coughed on her hand in an attempt to stop herself from laughing out loud.
"Little Star, did you apologize to your Uncle Yan?" She asked her daughter, to which Little Star shook her head in response.
"I'm sorry, Mommy. But it's not my fault that I couldn't stop my poop from turning into air." Little Star answered without batting an eyelid.
Feng Tianyi laughed harder at what the girl said while Tang Moyu only shook her head in exasperation. Well, at least nothing serious happened while she was gone. Even after years of working in the corporate world, she still couldn't help but be worried about her twins back at home.
Tang Moyu allowed herself to smile and kissed her daughter's head.
"Don't forget to apologize next time he comes for a visit, okay?" She reminded her. "So what else is for dinner?"
It was Feng Tianyi who answered her question. historical

Just the mere mention of the dishes was enough for Tang Moyu to drool. Even though she was eating good food outside, there's nothing better than the home cooked meals Feng Tianyi made for her and the twins for dinner.
Unconsciously, she was looking forward to going home, anticipating what they'd be having for dinner.
"Oh my goodness! Have I told you how much I love you?" She suddenly blurted out, much to her shock. When she realised what she had said, she saw that Feng Tianyi and the twins were staring at her with wide eyes.
Xiao Bao and Little Star were surprised to hear what their Mommy said, but at the same time confused as to why her face turned beet red.
Silence ensued between the two adults for a few seconds as Feng Tianyi looked at Tang Moyu. His face didn't hide his surprise before his lips turned into a grin. How can he let this chance slip by without teasing her.
"No," he shook his head. "Not yet, Moyu. But I would like it better if you'll show me." He retorted with a mischievous grin plastered on his handsome face.
A flush crept up Tang Moyu's face as she looked away.
"What I mean is all you…" she said in a low voice, trying to correct herself, but Feng Tianyi knew better.
"Mommy, I'm hungry." Tang Moyu heard Little Star say.
Thank goodness her twins were here to help her escape another embarrassing moment with Feng Tianyi. She made a mental note to pay attention to what she would say next time to avoid awkward situations like this in the future.
"Alright, let's eat before our dinner gets cold." Feng Tianyi said to the little buns before giving Tang Moyu a wink.
