Chapter 17 Chapter 17 Quinlyn caught a strong whiff of the woman's perfume-overpowering with a hint of something familiar. She took a quier step back and turned to the staff beside her. "Are the bathrooms really that expensive here?" she asked, her eyes wide.
The staff looked down at Quinlyn's earnest face, taken aback, and couldn't help but chuckle. Her cuteness was just too irresistible.
"Hey, what's the big idea? I'm just trying to teach this kid smanners, the woman huffed, irritation clear in her voice. She marched over, shoved the staff aside, and reached for Quinlyn's car.
Quinlyn sensed the woman's anger and instinctively jerked her head away. But behind her was a glass display case, and the woman, not paying attention, slammed right into it.

The woman had banged her knee into the counter, and it was bleeding. The bald, pudgy man with her was hovering over her, cooing. "Oh, sweetheart, are you okay?" "It's killing me. Honey, it's all that brat's fault, the woman sobbed, tears streaming down her face as she pointed at Quinlyn "You gotta do something about this.” The bald man turned to the staff, his face flushed with anger. "What are you waiting for? Get this kid out of here and call her parents. They need to apologize and pay for this. Otherwise, I'm suing them for every penny they've got.' As the situation started to spiral out of control and the staff prepared to usher Quinlyn out to defuse the tension, two good-looking guys walked in.
It was Stanley and Joseph, their expressions turning serious as they approached Quinlyn. They positioned themselves in front of her, like they were shielding her.
"Who do you think you are? Acting like this place is your kingdom and kicking people out?" Stanley said with a smirk. holding a coffee and a small cake. He stared down the bald man, unimpressed and daring him to respond. "Mr. Anderson?" The bald man was clearly thrown off, glancing over at Joseph, who was standing nearby. "And you're here too, Mr. Wilson. What's your connection with this girl?" Joseph usually didn't rely on his family nto intimidate people, but today he decided it was worth a shot. He gave a small smile and said, "She saved my life before." The bald man stood there, stunned, his mouth hanging open.
Stanley jumped in quickly, not wanting to miss a beat. "She's my biological sister. We just got back together." The bald man's face turned pale, and he started sweating like crazy.
Joseph, watching the scene, glanced at the woman on the chair and kept his cool smile. "I figured the lady who walked in with you to buy a house would be your wife." The bald man's expression changed. He instinctively stood up and began bowing and apologizing. I'm so sorry, Mr. Wilson, Mr. Anderson. I had no idea she was an Anderson. If I had known. I wouldn't have dared to act so rashly "So you're apologizing for her mess?" Stanley glanced at the woman behind the bald man, his tone even mor condescending than the woman's earlier. "Why not let her handle it herself?" "Sure, that's right. The bald man turned, grabbed the woman's arm, and demanded. "Apologize to Ms. Anderson. Do you really think you can afford to mess with her?" He thought she was being reckless and was annoyed at the trouble she'd caused, but he had no idea she was even more upset 1/3 Chapter 17 than he was.
"What are you doing? You're hurting me! The woman shook off his hand. Realizing everyone was watching, she slapped the bald man hard across the face. "Useless! Can't even protect your own woman. What's the point of you?" The slap left everyone in the room stunned. They'd seen rich folks act out before, but never a mistress slapping her sugar daddy.
The bald man's face tumed bright red. “You... How dare you..." He tried to speak, but the woman kicked him and cut him off. "Get lost! I'm done with you. Back off," she snapped, her voice dripping with disdain.
She then pointed at Joseph and his group, her red-painted nails flashing. "None of you are leaving either. III teach you all a lesson." Joseph and Stanley exchanged glances. Honestly, there weren't many people in this city who could actually give them a hard time.
The woman pulled out her phone and quickly punched in a number. A few minutes later, a man hurried into the hall.

The bald man's face fell as he watched the cozy interaction between the woman named Yvonne and Carl. He couldn't afford to upset the manager, so he backed off, covering his face and muttering under his breath. "You better make this right today, or don't even think about contactingagain," she said, her voice dripping with attitude.
"Alright, alright, I'll handle it,” Carl said, trying to calm her down like she was skind of princess.
He turned to Joseph and his group, his face serious. “This is a sales office for high-end neighborhoods. It's not a place for kids like you. You upset our customer, so you should apologize." He said it like he was the expert on everything.
Joseph glanced at him and smirked. “Don't recognize me! I'm from the Wilson family. My dad knows your boss," he said nonchalantly. The Wilson and the James families were connected through marriage, and Joseph was a familiar face around here.
