Scarlett got out of her bed, “End of conversation. I gotta wash up and have breakfast.”
“Hey! Wait! Aren’t you surprised or excited?”
Looking at the sunshine through the window, Scarlett raised her eyebrows and replied, “I don’t have any feelings right now.”
“... Scarlett. Come on...”
The phone was hung up from the other side before Alexis could finish her sentence.
Good on her.
Actually, Scarlett guessed out last night before she had gone to sleep that the headline had been suppressed by Raymond.
Honestly, she was quite shocked by the sentence ” have you loved me?” he had said. Hadn’t Raymond been always thinking her
over-confident, greedy, and hypocritical?
He had used to say that her love could be priced and meant nothing for him.
She didn’t expect that he would ask this complicated question after divorce.
That was really hilarious.
About Raymond suppressing the headline, Scarlett didn’t take it seriously.
The thing she intended to do right now was to deal with Julie.
Scarlett drove her car and left after breakfast.

Actually, she hated to have interactions with anyone related to Raymond, but she had compromised three times with Julie.
Nothing could happen more than three times. Julie probably would think she was soft if she did nothing t o fight back.
The private detective was introduced by Nicole, the agent of Alexis. She made an appointment with the detective at 10 am.
Though he left home at 9:30, she ran into an accident o n the way, and it took her extra 10 minutes. So she was 6-minute late
after she parked her car.
In the restaurant, only light music could be heard because it was still early for lunch. She saw the only person here once she
walked in.
“I am sorry for being late, Mr. Calton.”
He was obviously stunned when seeing her, but he quickly went back to normal and said, “That’s all right.
I just arrived not long before.”
Scarlett smiled and directly took 15 grand from her purse, then put it on the table before Zack. “Mr. Calton,
I have made it very clear over the phone that you have 7 days and this is the deposit,” she said.
Zack didn’t expect that Scarlett was so straightforward, for which he was slightly surprised. ” You are more beautiful and
straightforward than I have expected,” replied he.
“Hopefully you don’t mind. I don’t want to waste my time.”
“Understood. I’ll keep you updated.”

It was so easy to communicate with a smart person. Scarlett smiled, “Okay. I am waiting.”

Zack was thinking to invite Scarlett for lunch but gave it up when seeing her very beautiful eyes. He said, “I gotta go and see you
later.”
“See you.”
Scarlett lowered her head to take a sip of orange juice. After watching Zack disappear, she made a sign to the waiter to bring her
a menu.
Since she was right there in the restaurant, why not treat herself well with a nice lunch?
Because it was still early for lunch and there was no rush, Scarlett sat here slowly looking through the menu.
She was very “lucky” today. After placing the order, she saw Julie walking in, arm in arm with a man.
She knew the man. He seemed to be Gale Conway, the youngest son in the Conway family who graduated from a foreign

A few people were in the restaurant, so Julie saw Scarlett right away.
Julie suddenly felt embarrassed and subconsciously let go of her hand holding Gale.
Scarlett could not help laughing at that. She held her chin with her hand and watched Julie approaching step by step, then she
made a flickering smile and said, “How coincident it is, Ms. Woods.”
Julie’s expression changed. Though she didn’t really want to greet Scarlett, she replied, “Ms. Reed.”
Scarlett looked at Gale beside Julie. She slightly frowned and asked, “Who is this gentleman?”
“Your friend?”
Scarlett lightly sneered and found it very interesting. She seemed to understand something all of a sudden and significantly
looked at Julie, “I see. I will leave you two alone.”.

Julie was very uncomfortable with the look Scarlett gave, but she preferred not to continue the conversation with Scarlett before
Gale. So she went straight to her table after hearing that.
