Chapter 890
He wasn't against Flora per se; it was just that their chances were slim to begin with, and adding Flora to the mix
didn't seem to tip the scales in their favor. Would it just end up being a contest of who embarrasses themselves
more? In the racing world, people often assumed women were at a disadvantage, and since they hadn't seen
Flora race, they naturally figured her driving would be nothing special.
"Mr. Adrian, we think it might not be great for Miss Flora to compete. Maybe have a chat with her and suggest
she sits this one out? There's still tto change the lineup if we act fast."
The others chimed in with their concerns. If Miss Flora entered and didn't do well, it would be awkward for
everyone. Plus, there were plenty of folks eager to see them stumble.
"Everyone, zip it!" Adrian was so mad he could almost see red, but just then, he noticed Kruz and Flora
approaching.
"Sis, you're here!" He rushed over to them, shooting a look at the group of young men, signaling them to watch
their words.

Flora gave a slight nod in response.
"Miss Flora!" Despite their doubts about her racing, the young men from the Reyes team greeted her with
respect.
"What are you all standing around for? Why hasn't practice started yet?" Flora eyed Adrian. It was already past
ten and no one was on the track?
Adrian felt a twinge of anxiety under her gaze and quickly said, "We'll get started right away!"
Normally, they'd have several laps under their belts by now, but today was anything but ordinary!
"Alright, let's get moving! Training time!" He rounded up the young men, then suddenly remembered something
and rubbed his hands together. "Sis, why don't you join us?" He wanted everyone to see just how aweshis
sister was, so they'd stop underestimating her.
Flora nodded casually. Getting behind the wheel sounded good. It'd give her a chance to scope things out.
"I want to ride with Flora!" Kruz volunteered eagerly.
Seeing Flora hop in, the Reyes team boys were secretly excited. They were curious to see Flora's skills in action.
Surely she wouldn't be that bad, right? As long as she managed to keep up, they wouldn't have much to
complain about. But if she was really off her game...
Andy pressed his lips together, a hint of intrigue in his eyes.
Adrian brought over his top-tier sports car. "Sis, you take this one!" He even opened the door for her, like a true
gentleman.
Flora gave the car a quick once-over; the specs were top-notch. She slipped into the driver's seat, while Kruz,
buzzing with excitement, took the passenger spot.
Adrian got into his own car, his eyes
sparkling with anticipation. Finally, a chance to race against his sister! He knew Flora was a pro, so he was on
high-alert, ready to give it his all!

"Alright, everyone, focus! Aim for your best lap times, and don't let my sister overtake you before we've even

Knowing Flora, she could definitely pull it off. With Adrian's serious tone, the young men thought he might be
overhyping things, but their interest was piqued. Could Miss Flora really be that skilled? en
Andy couldn't resist sneaking another look at Flora.
And then, it was go time.
At the sound of the starting gun, all the cars shot onto the track in perfect unison!
"Flora! Step on it! Let's fly!" Kruz was more pumped than Flora, practically shouting as if he could see them
zooming ahead of everyone else!
But-
Flora's right hand casually rested on the steering wheel, her left arm draped lazily out the window. She barely
tapped the gas, cruising along at a snail's pace.
In less than a minute, they were far behind, trailing in last place.
The hopeful young men from the Reyes racing team: "What just happened?"
