Chapter 204 Depressing Atmosphere
Gloria glanced at Chaim. Seeing that he was sitting there without moving, she pouted and looked at
Samara, Gloria did not dare to speak, but she felt aggrieved in her heart. So, she just lowered her head
to keep Samara out of her sight.
On the other hand, the waiter could not help but ask, “Ms. Novak, only you three will be eating. Do you
think those dishes are more than enough?”
When Gloria heard the waiter’s words, she could not help but look at Samara. If not for Chaim sitting
next to her, she wanted to ask if Samara had gone too far!
Samara smiled. “Oh, I forgot to tell you. Pack up the dishes I ordered just now.”
As she spoke, she paused and then looked at Chaim. “My friend is quite busy. He asked me to bring
him some food. Mr. Humphrey, you won’t mind me using your money to do that, right?”
Chaim looked at Samara, but his expression did not change. “It’s okay.”

Samara responded indifferently, then pointed at two dishes. “Serve us these two. As for the rest, you
can ask Mr. and Ms. Humphrey what they want to eat.”
Samara acted as if she was the one paying the bill.
Gloria was depressed, but she couldn’t say it, so she gritted her teeth and ordered three dishes.
Chaim ordered soup and a dessert, and the dishes for the dinner were confirmed.
The waiter who came in to take the order let out a sigh of relief. The atmosphere in the room soured.
The moment he entered, he felt it!
Now that the order was finally over, the waiter smiled and said, “Please wait a moment.” Then, he
quickly left.
The waiter left, leaving the three in the room.
Samara emptied the water in her glass, refilled it, and took a sip. She then looked at Chaim, “Mr. and
Ms. Humphrey, do you want to talk before or after dinner?”
Samara put down the glass, pursed her lips, and added, “I suggest we talk after dinner. Otherwise, I’m
afraid that you might not be in the mood to eat.‘
Chaim looked at Samara. Although she had a smile on her face, there was no hint of a smile in her
eyes. She was polite with the ease that she never had before.
She seemed to be certain that their conversation would be unpleasant.
Chaim looked at Samara and his eyes rolled. After a while, he said, “Then, let’s talk after dinner.”
Samara curved her lips and smiled. “Sure.”
The three did not have any common topics to talk about. Even if they did, no one would be the first to
speak.
Chaim was not a talkative person, and Gloria was holding back her anger. Samara was watching, and
no one spoke. The only sound in the private room was the sound of the running water from a fish tank.
Fortunately, the dishes were soon served. The silence in the private room was broken by the waiter
who brought the dishes over.

However, the atmosphere in the room was too depressing. The waiter was happy to come in, but as
soon as he walked to the table, he became cautious.
“All the dishes you ordered are here. Please enjoy them. The dessert will be served later.”
The waiter carefully put down the plates. After saying this, he pushed the cart and left without looking
back.
Chaim glanced at Samara, who was opposite him. “Eat.”
As soon as he finished speaking, Samara stood up and scooped a plate of soup for herself. After that,
Samara sat back down.
From beginning to end, she never paid attention to Chaim.
It was just a meal. Could it be that she wouldn’t dar to eat without his permission?
Samara took a sip of the soup. The taste was pretty good and she felt that this dinner was worth it. At
least, the meal tasted good and could stuff her.
