Harvey's expression worsened.
"Why are you doing that? What are you trying to say here?" he asked.
"Do I look like the kind of person who wants that to happen to you?"
"Aren't you supposed to heal me?" Arlet shot back.
A timid expression colored her face.
"I'm ready for you to hit me however you want!"
"You can do whatever you want as long as I’m healed!"
"I like it when you hit harder!"
"You..."
Harvey was startled.
"You're not actually a masochist, are you?"
Harvey stared at her with a bemused look.
Then, he swung his palm forward.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt"Who told you I was going to heal you that way?"
"Last time, I was just clearing your veins to relieve your headaches!"
This time, I'll have to deal with the problem once and for all through the martial arts you've been practicing."
"I need you to tell me what style you've been training in to see where the problem is."
After hearing Harvey's words, Arlet’s face turned as red as a traffic light. She quickly retracted from him and went
to rummage through her drawer. She then took out a textbook with a yellowish cover, and handed it to Harvey.
Harvey glanced at the cover; it had "Wing Chun" written on it.
As one of the hidden martial arts, Wing Chun was quite suitable for a woman to train.
That said, the martial art belonged to the Five Virtues Temple—one of the sacred martial art training grounds.
The book Arlet took out was basically incomplete.
She hurt herself because she only had fragments of information to train with.
Harvey frowned, and spent the time filling up the missing parts of the book.
When done, he threw the book back to Arlet.
"Here. This book only has the first half of your martial art that you've been learning.I filled in the missing parts, so all
you need to do is to practice whatever it says here."
"As for the second half, you should find some time to ask for the Five Virtues Temple's help."
"If I tell you about their martial arts, they'll come for me."
"Got it."
Arlet flipped through the pages Harvey fixed excitedly.
Then, she started channeling her energy in front of Harvey.
Half an hour later, she felt a lot more relaxed.
Not only did her chest stop hurting, but it was also abundantly clear that she was in high spirits.
Heck, she was sure she could kick down a battalion at that point.
Harvey smiled after seeing the satisfied look on Arlet’s face.
He knew that she had basically recovered.
"Right.Make sure to quit drinking within the month.Drink more radish soup to rejuvenate yourself as well."
"If there’s nothing else, I'll be leaving."
"Thank you, Master!" Arlet said enthusiastically, bashful.
"Tell me if you need anything in the future.I'll do my best to help!"
Harvey was about to tease Arlet a little more, but then somebody knocked the door.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmA young couple showed up soon after.
The man was covered from head to toe in Zegna haute couture clothing.
The woman, on the other hand, was dressed in Givenchy brands.
The two looked very extravagant together, what with all the luxury items they wore.
"Arlet! You said that the person who dealt with Mr.Pagan’s problem would come today.Where is he now?" the man
asked hastily.
"He'll be here to fix your problem too, right?" the beautiful woman asked as well.
"Are you alright now?"
"Thank you for your concern, Mr.and Mrs.Robbins."
Arlet smiled brightly at them.
"My problem’s been solved. There won't be any pain anymore." She brought out a punching bag from the inner
room and sent it flying with a single punch.
Harvey was completely speechless to see it.
‘Can you act more like a decent lady at least...?"
