Chapter 417: Xue Yus Love Life
Song Mian’s people must have been searching for a TV satellite with a higher number of audiences. They even bump into a wall twice. They were either not optimistic about this TV series or were unable to arrange it for the schedule.
However, they still managed to find two larger satellite TVs that could arrange accordingly to the schedule. However, since the price was already negotiated with one company, Huan Yu Century entertainment could not cheat the previous company; they could only be firm at the same price. So one of the two did not accept it.
In this way, “Overseer of the Heavenly Destiny” and “Princess Pingyang” were both scheduled to be broadcast in October by two large TV satellite companies. Both of which was the prime time of satellite TVs.
When Yun Xiangxiang heard Wei Shanshan talk about the ups and downs, she knew that Song Mian had spent a lot of effort on it. He could have just opened his mouth and made it happen, but he went through all that trouble. It made her feel warmhearted.
When he got home, she hugged him from behind and leaned on his broad back, “Thank you, Ah Mian.”
“Why are you thanking me?” Song Mian handed the matter to his subordinates and did not care about it anymore.
“Thank you for loving me so much.” She smiled until her eyes were curved.
He handled her carefully in his palms, followed all her thoughts, and took care of everything for her.
Song Mian’s lips stretched, and his voice was soft and gentle, “Thank you too, for giving me the chance to love you.”
She couldn’t help but stand on her tiptoes and kissed him on the lips. It was a feather-light touch that broke away in a second.
Song Mian didn’t chase after her but told her, “Dong Chen’s condition might have a good turn.”
“Really?” Yun Xiangxiang’s eyes lit up.
Dong Chen was Xue Yu’s female fan. She was in a serious medical condition, and both the hospital and herself had already given up on trying to treat it.

“I still have to observe for a while after this.” Song Mian nodded.
“Ah Mian, you are so amazing.” Yun Xiangxiang looked at Song Mian in admiration.
In this life, Song Mian had been looked up to and worshipped by countless people. He was already used to this sort of gaze and even loosened up to it. However, he realized that he, too, needed to feel recognized when the person he loved looked at him that way.
It wasn’t because such a gaze created ripples in his heart, but rather that he only wanted the person he cared about the most.
“There is another thing. It depends on whether you have time.” Song Mian held Yun Xiangxiang’s hand, “It’s Old Man Shi’s eightieth birthday.”
Yun Xiangxiang raised her eyebrows, “They invited you?”
“Although it’s his eightieth birthday, they did not invite too many people. They are all from our circle, so your identity will not be exposed.” Song Mian explained softly, “I want to bring you out to meet new people.”
This was to avoid conceited people like Tang Zhiyu from barging in.
She lifted her head to look at Song Mian, his purplish-black eyes glittering in the moonlight. They were gentle and bright, and she saw the expectation in his eyes.
He was trying to move closer to her step by step without hurting her, trying his best to let her be with him uprightly.
For someone like him, he would not wrack his brain like this for anyone else except her in his entire lifetime.
“Which day?” Yun Xiangxiang agreed readily.
They were two people in love. She could not just let Song Mian do his best to move closer to her. She, too, had to move forward together so that they could become closer bravely.
“The last day of this month.” Song Mian was pleased.
Yun Xiangxiang snuggled into Song Mian’s arms, feeling inexplicably a bit sad for Song Mian.
She wondered if she gave him too little sense of security or gave too little to him. It was such a simple thing that a girlfriend should do, yet it made him so happy.
Because Song Mian mentioned Dong Chen, Yun Xiangxiang asked Xue Yu to visit her. It was at the Song family’s lab base. Dong Chen volunteered to be an experimental subject. It was very secretive here, so there was no need to worry about anybody divulging information.
Dong Chen seemed utterly different from the lethargic person from before. She was like a seed that sprouted from the soil. She was full of energy and vitality.
After seeing Dong Chen, Xue Yu left the hospital with Yun Xiangxiang and told her mysteriously, ” I will take you to meet someone.”
“Who is it?” Yun Xiangxiang was a little curious.
Xue Yu was a little shy and lowered his voice, “My girlfriend.”
Yun Xiangxiang was taken aback and immediately reacted, “Oh, senior brother, you finally in a relationship? When are you going to announce it?”
Xue Yu was thirty-five. He was seventeen years older than Yun Xiangxiang. If fans found out that he was in a relationship two or three years ago, they would have cried to death.
Now it was different. A lot of fans have started to worry about the second half of his life. Many of his fans even begged him to find a partner now.
This was because many fans who once dreamed about becoming his wife were mostly someone else’s wives now. Many of his fans, who had promoted to become mothers, also worry about Xue Yu, who was still single.
“After we are stable.” Xue Yu looked serious.
“Does Brother Wei know?” Yun Xiangxiang asked again.

“What does she do? How did you meet?” Yun Xiangxiang couldn’t but be a busybody.
“She is a kindergarten teacher. I almost ran into her the last time I was driving...”
Xue Yu’s girlfriend was Xu Zi, who worked as a kindergarten teacher in a very famous kindergarten in Beijing. The way they met was a little theatrical.
At that time, Xu Zi was bringing the students back after organizing an extracurricular activity. When the children are crossing the road, the teachers would stand in the middle of the road to block it so that the children would cross the road while holding hands with each other.
Xu Zi had already led the children across the road. But who knew that the wind blew the hat in one of the children’s hands into the middle of the road.
That child broke free of his little friend’s hand and ran towards the road to pick up their hat. Precisely at that time, Xue Yu’s car was driving over.
At the moment, Xu Zi rushed towards the student without even thinking about it, pushing them aside, but she crashed into Xue Yu’s car.
Xue Ye had already pulled his emergency brakes when he saw the child, and the car stopped, but he still hit Xu Zi.
It was not serious at all, just some bruising on the knees. There was no bones fracture after they went to check at the hospital. It was a blessing within all the misfortune.
This was how they met. It was also worth mentioning that Xu Zi was one of Xue Yu’s fans.
Xue Yu liked Xu Zi’s gentleness and patience, and additionally, she was very responsible when working. Xu Zi also liked that Xue Yu was accountable and kind.
Gradually, Xue Yu confessed to Xu Zi. Xu Zi was so excited at the time that her tears were flowing, and she couldn’t speak a word.
Xue Yu recalled the scene and smiled like a fool.
Yun Xiangxiang could see that this was what it looked like when someone fell in love.
But Xu Zi was only twenty-four years old. They had a ten year age gap between them. Xue Yu was a little troubled, “Do you think her parents will dislike me for being too old?”
Yun Xiangxiang leaned her forehead on her hands. How were ten years gap considered too old? Many people in the industry had a bigger age gap than that.
