Chapter 559 overwhelmed.
It was evening when Dillon walked into the hospital room. The sight of him instantly brought Casper to Eliza's mind. That swirl of emotions always seemed to well up in her, making her eyes misty. She tried hard to keep her emotions in check, not wanting to seem too "Dillon, weren't you overseas? What brings you back?" Eliza asked, a bit surprised.
Dillon, ever the picture of seriousness, bowed slightly. "Master Ray informedthat you had an accident, so I rushed back right away. Don't worry, I'll make sure you and... the little one are safe." Chelsea couldn't help but roll her eyes. Caleb, always the blabbermouth, couldn't wait to spill the beans about Eliza's pregnancy to everyone.

"It's not the same. I have my responsibilities, and Mr. Casper made it clear that your safety is the top priority. I won't slack off," Dillon replied with impeccable politeness.
With that, Dillon excused himself to attend to other matters, leaving Eliza to rest.
Once outside, Dillon made a phone call. While investigating the plane crash in Africa, they'd found sleads pointing to Manuel. But Casper had been seriously hurt, and his recovery took precedence, leaving the investigation on the back burner. "Keep a close watch on him. I'm on my way," Dillon said before hanging up and heading out of the hospital.
Back in the room, Chelsea poured Eliza a cup of warm water. "Dillon used to be Casper's personal assistant. Having him around might be more reassuring." Eliza held the cup, her expression thoughtful. With Dillon's presence, she did feel safer than with just the police. But with Casper gone, Dillon couldn't protect her forever. True salvation, she knew, had to cfrom within.
"Chelsea, I have an idea," Eliza said, her eyes filled with contemplation.
"What's on your mind?" Chelsea asked softly.
"I'm thinking of going abroad. Once I have the baby, I'll cback," Eliza said, a slight worry in her voice. She had no idea what Manuel might do next, and being pregnant made her vulnerable. "We both know the evidence we have isn't enough to keep Manuel locked up for long. The police will probably release him soon." "I get it," Chelsea said, understanding Eliza's fears but feeling uncertain. "Where do you want to go? It's tough being in a foreign place..." "I'm thinking France. Juan is there, and he'll take good care of me," Eliza replied squeezing Chelsea's hand. "If anything happens in Falconridge, letknow. I'm also worried about Brock..." en "Are you taking Brock with you?" "No, the Welton family will look after him. I just hate being away from bim for so long," Eliza said, knowing she'd be gone for at least six months. "Make sure to sendlots of photos and videos."

Chelsea stepped out quietly, only to be startled by two men in blackm standing like guards at the door. "Who: who are you?" she stammered. "We're here to protect Ms. Eliza, arranged by Mr. Dillon," one of the men replied, his calm demeanor unshakeable.
Chelsea took a deep breath, muttering to herself about the impressively swift arrangements.
She planned to swing by the police station to check on the case. But as she headed out she bumped into someone coming in, and their pen poked her right in the eye.
