Alexander was already in the living room when Lily reached home, playing with Galen.

In the vast living room, the coffee table and cabinets were empty. A thick and soft carpet lay across the floor for the child to crawl

around and play. Alexander doted on the child so much that Lily feared their next child might be a daughter.

Lily did not answer and kept her head down as she played with Galen's toys.

herself. Despite that, she still pursed her lips up in anger.

He got up and moved next to her before pulling her into his arms. "Who made my queen unhappy? Do you needto teach them

a lesson?" He teased.

Lily snorted. "I won't dare to. After all, as a woman, | should stay hand care for my husband and children. How dare | go out

and steal a man's job?

The fury in her rose even more as she spoke. ‘That b*stard!"

Alexander was quick. Although he did not know the details, he quickly understood her meaning. "What did those old hags at the

research institute say?"

He had also dealt with the research institute a few times. The people there were generally older, and most were men. It was not

uncommon for them to say such phrases.
