Chapter 1735
Since Dominic had said so, Austin hoped that he would be able to relax.
He had not had a good night's sleep in a long time. On top of the the was imprisoned, he had not slept peacefully for a long
time, even after returning, because of the physical torture he would experience.
The four hours of sleep he had just had were the best he had ever had. When he woke up, he felt much more refreshed.
“Okay, | trust you!" Austin nodded.
With that, the old man got up to check his pulse and pondered for a while before he turned around and left without saying a word.
Dominic washed and disinfected his hands downstairs before going to the backyard.

It was already dark, but the backyard was brightly lit, reflecting a sizeable herb garden, which looked beautiful and serene.
He walked over to the flower section and saw his apprentice squatting down among the herbs. Her stomach made it inconvenient
for her to squat down. Instead, she was bent over slightly as she stretched out her hands to pick the needed herbs.
"Is there anything missing?" Dominic asked, not afraid of scaring her.
She had very sharp ears. She would have heard his footsteps long before he got close.
Sure enough, Lily was not surprised : "| think we have almost everything. Even if something is missing, | don't think you'll be able
to find a replacement so quickly."”
"That's not true! Tellwhat's missing. I'm not trying to boast, but there isn't a herb that | can't find!" How can he allow himself to
be embarrassed in front of his apprentice? On top of that, this place was not an herb garden for no reason. He had all sorts of herbs
here. Any herbs he did not have would mean it was a world treasure.
After picking a few more, Lily straightened up and looked at him." Spices!"
"Spices..." Dominic, who was full of confidence a second ago, now froze instantly. "Spices? Why are you talking about spices here?
You know | don't dabble in those things. Why do you need spices? Are you starting your old business again?"
Lily shook her head. "No. | have other uses.
After bending over for so long, she straightened up and patted her waist lightly before saying to the old man, "How is your precious
grandnephew?"
"He's not my precious grandnephew!" The old man had a look of disdain on his face. He did not realize that he had admitted
himself to this relationship unknowingly. "He looks stable. | took his pulse before coming here, and it sounded fairly stable.
However, it's just how it seems for now. He is still inflamed. If we don't tend to it properly, he will relapse."

"So, we've not cured the root of the problem." Lily was not surprised. "However, judging from what happened, this method seems
feasible."
“Of course. Ancestral methods like these..." The old man looked proud. After all, it was he who proposed for her to do this in the
first place.
Halfway through his sentence, something cto his mind. "You said earlier that the silver needle controls people's minds..."
"lI haven't figured that out yet, but it's not as simple as relying on the needles. | think we'd still need smedication. I've done a
laboratory analysis on that silver needle but have yet to draw a conclusion."
Shifting her body, Lily continued, "I may not drop by as often in the next few days. | will leave your grandnephew to you. Also..."
After a pause, she looked deeply at the old man and said, "Take care of yourself."
Although this statement from Lily wasn't particularly unusual, Dominic found it to be very moving. He wanted to laugh, but his eyes
began tearing up.
He sniffed hard and said, "When did you learn to be so empathetic? I'm not used to it!"
