As Lily turned to leave, a guard hurried over. He walked past her and bowed to Yasmin, whispering something.

Lily should not have been able to hear anything since she was a distance away. However, she could hear the guard because she

had trained in combat. The guard whispered, “A Hylander clooking for Rhea.”

Lily was surprised that an outsider would be looking for Rhea. The former glanced over and saw Yasmin looking at her. The guard

stopped talking and waited for Lily to leave.

After sthought, Lily turned to leave. She then stopped outside the door but could not hear a thing. As a guard was waiting to

return Lily to her room, she did not try to eavesdrop and left with him, even though she was curious.
