Chapter 408 The Arrival Of His Majesty
Jonathan's pure bloodline immediately turned the four bags of consumed blood into nutrition. Those nutrients first
traveled through his veins, but the cells in his body couldn't absorb any more nutrients. Hence, those nutrients
rushed into his head instead.
Jonathan controlled the flow of the nutrients and allowed his one hundred brain cells to absorb them.
Once that was done, his brain cells rapidly metamorphosized and evolved.
Then, they generated mana, which transformed into spiritual energy and was discharged from his brain.
The spiritual energy then flowed into and merged with Jonathan's body. Upon being hardened by the spiritual
energy and absorbing it, the man's entire physique grew tougher and denser.
With ordinary bloodline cultivation, mana would flood the entire cerebral domain, causing the cerebral domain to
transform into a powerful magnetic field. That magnetic field was capable of altering objects in the world. However,
due to Jonathan's unique bloodline, his mana could only manifest into a mighty combat force.
In any case, his cultivation stage had advanced.
Furthermore, with his incomparably robust body, his combat force was no less inferior than those in Immortal
Stage. Even at its early stage, he could overpower Divine Masters, but he still needed to be wary when facing
Immortal Stage individuals.
While the advantages of Jonathan's bloodline were unmistakable, its weaknesses were even more apparent, which
was that it would be difficult for him to reach Void Domain.
Void Domain was only a step away from Immortal Stage. Once an individual achieved Void Domain, their primordial
spirit could leave their body, and they could explore space, condense magnetic fields in The Void, and utilize the
force in the environment.
In conclusion, Void Domain's abilities far surpassed those in Immortal Stage.
Achieving Void Domain was the equivalent of acquiring cutting-edge military technology.
On the other hand, Immortal Stage was comparable to basic warfare.
Of course, even with an ordinary bloodline, reaching Void Domain was still exceedingly difficult.
Thus, only a few had been capable of such a feat up till now.
Jonathan felt a little worn out after digesting four bags of blood.
It was because the blood he consumed wasn't fresh and pure enough. Hence, it was extra draining for his bloodline
to transform the blood into nutrients.
Simon could instantly reach Level Five Divine Master because he had consumed an immense amount of fresh blood
from live humans.
Jonathan wasn't in a hurry, though. He was fine with absorbing a little blood daily because it was ultimately faster

from the hospital.
After absorbing four bags of blood, he felt that his cultivation level had increased moderately. However, it would still
take some time before he could reach Level Four Divine Master.
He knew he had to collect fresh blood to consume as soon as possible in order to hasten his progress. As for
feeding on live humans, that was out of his considerations for the time being.
Cultivating in Fog City eased Jonathan's fatigue expeditiously, making him feel much more relaxed.
Despite that, he restricted himself to only drinking four bags of blood a day because overconsumption would harm
his cultivation.
The principle of “haste makes waste” was applicable to almost everything.
After his cultivation concluded, it was almost early morning. He returned to the palace, bathed, and slumbered in
his bedroom.
Jonathan slept soundly, as it had been a long time since he last had a relaxing rest.
Joy danced in his heart as he got close to Edward's cultivation stage. Even by purely relying on his physical prowess,
he was likely capable of holding his own against Edward.
Moreover, as long as he could wield his vampire abilities skillfully, he wouldn't need to fear Ignatius in the future.
Of course, Jonathan wouldn't challenge Tristan and Ignatius so soon. For one, there was the restriction of Divine
Emperor. For another, Tristan and Ignatius' cultivation were seriously too outrageously formidable.
Nevertheless, Jonathan could already see the light at the end of the tunnel.
No matter what, his improvement was exceptionally speedy.
At eight in the morning, the man was still asleep. Upon hearing Mabel knocking on the door, he opened his eyes
and sat up. “What's the matter? Why are you waking me up so early?”
“Prince Solorel is about to kill Titus, and the clan members are pleading for mercy. Are you, as the king, still going
to sleep?” she asked.
A chuckle left Jonathan's lips when he heard that. It seems Prince Solorel has already gotten the show on the road.
We did discuss this yesterday, so I guess it's showtime.
“All right, I'll be right out.”
The garden in front of the Dietrich family's castle was showered with the morning sunlight.
Currently, all core members of the vampire race had gathered around, including the thirty-six viscounts, eight
marquises, four archdukes, Solorel, Aurora, and Walrion.
Solorel stood at the highest spot in the garden, accompanied by Walrion and Aurora.
As for Titus, even though he was bound, he stood defiantly and glowered at the prince, with two vampire soldiers
guarding him.
It was then Jonathan set off alone.
After all, Mabel and Beatrix were outsiders. It wouldn't be appropriate for them to join in the fun.
Yeverie promptly greeted Jonathan with a bow upon seeing him. “Your Majesty!”
He turned to her and said, “Let's pay Titus a visit.”
“Yes, Your Majesty. Please follow me.”
Without delay, he followed her to their destination.
The woman was wearing short, skintight leather bottoms as Jonathan walked behind her.
Hence, he couldn't help but gander at her voluptuous rear wickedly, her backside so alluring that he almost became
bewitched.
Still, he forced himself to avert his gaze, for Yeverie was ultimately his subordinate. It would be inappropriate of him
to have naughty ideas about her.
Hastily, the man increased his pace and walked shoulder-to-shoulder with her.
Just as they exited the hall but before entering the garden, a sea of people came to view.
Titus' piercing voice was the first to reach Jonathan's ears. “Kill me if you dare, Solorel! Do you think anyone will
obey you after you execute an innocent elder for an outsider? Just wait! Once my son returns, you will be the first
person to be put to the sword!”
Upon hearing that, Jonathan ceased in his tracks.
Yeverie followed suit and asked softly, “What's wrong, Your Majesty?”
“Let's stay here and watch.” He was discreetly displeased. This Titus Langston truly deserves to die. How can he still
be so insolent at this critical juncture? If I save him right now, I'll be humiliating Prince Solorel. I guess I'll observe
how this transpires first.
Meanwhile, with a frigid expression and murderous intent in his gaze, Solorel glanced at Titus.
“Titus Langston disregarded His Majesty and me! An arrogant man like him deserves to be punished for his crime!”
Solorel paused before turning to Titus. “Do you think I'm putting on an act for you? You're wrong, Titus. To think you
still can't grasp such a basic thing despite living till your age. Men! Sentence Titus Langston to Bloody Torment.”
The so-called Bloody Torment was a type of execution that involved puncturing a hole through the criminal's throat
and depleting their blood.
Vampires possessed a mighty life force, so they could survive for an extended period even after their throat was
pierced. The intent was to let the criminal watch themselves bleed to death.
“Don't you dare!” roared Titus.
Icily, Solorel ordered, “Execute him!”
Immediately, Walrion stepped forward while holding a sharp, bloody spike adorned with thorns.
Seeing that Titus was about to die, Bane, Harkins, Clement, and Nathan—all four dukes—stepped forward.
Bane was the first to plead mercy for Titus. “Mr. Langston may have spoken out of turn, but he doesn't deserve
death, Your Highness! He's our clan's elder, after all. No matter the crime he has committed, please consider our

“Please, have mercy, Your Highness!” begged Harkins.
The remaining two dukes and thirty-six viscounts all kneeled before Solorel in unison. “Please have mercy, Your
Highness.”
Upon witnessing his rising support, Titus turned to Solorel coldly as though he was demonstrating his influence.
Still, the latter remained silent.
He was, in fact, well aware of these people's thoughts. They were afraid of Titus' son, Anakin. If Titus were to die
here, they were concerned Anakin would take revenge on them after his return. However, if Titus were still
executed after they begged for his release, then they'd done all they could, and Anakin would be less likely to target
them.
What a shame that Titus doesn't understand this and still foolishly believes he's the man of the people.
“Do it, Walrion,” spat Solorel indifferently. “Titus will die, regardless of who pleads for leniency.”
His words were cruel, though intentionally so, because he knew Jonathan had arrived.
It was all a plan to highlight and emphasize Jonathan's authority, making a show that Jonathan was the sole person
who could order the release of Titus today.
Titus was shaken as he watched Walrion preparing to execute him.
He never expected Solorel to be this unsympathetic.
At last, Jonathan appeared with Yeverie and shouted, “Stop!”
When Solorel saw Jonathan, he immediately got down on one knee before the latter. “Greetings, Your Majesty.”
Walrion, Aurora, and the eight marquises swiftly did the same. “Greetings, Your Majesty!”
The same went for Yeverie.
Seeing such a grand greeting, the four archdukes and thirty-six viscounts had no choice but to mimic them.
“Greetings, Your Majesty!”
It was genuinely an imposing and spectacular scene.
Right then, Titus was the only one still standing.
Jonathan eyed the man frostily. “Why aren't you kneeling in my presence, Titus Langston?”
“You're merely an outsider scum!” Titus snorted. “Want me to kneel before you? Over my dead body!”
A harsh glint flashed past Jonathan's eyes. What an insolent old fart.
He ignored Titus and turned to the crowd. “Rise, everyone!”
“Thank you, Your Majesty!” The crowd promptly rose.
Feigning ignorance, Jonathan inquired, “What's going on here, Prince Solorel?”
“Titus disrespected you, Your Majesty. Hence, I've decided to sentence him to Bloody Torment,” answered Solorel
respectfully.
“Please have mercy, Your Majesty!” the four archdukes and thirty-six viscounts pleaded at once.
Arrogance returned to Titus' countenance when he heard that so many people were on his side.
“Mercy?” Jonathan sneered. “All of you heard Titus' insult toward me earlier. Despite how treacherous he is, you're
all still begging for leniency? What in the world are you all thinking?”
