Chapter 216 100% On the other end of the line, Aaron's tone was stern. “There's nothing for us to discuss. I took your call to tell you to stop bothering my sister. No matter who you turn to, I will handle this case by the book!" The call ended abruptly, and Haley turned to her parents with a pained expression. "This is all your fault. Ellie awkwardly said, "Ms. Grant, I never really had a good eye for these things." Diana giggled as she continued to persuade Ellie, “Actually, Mark is quite a catch. Don't think just because he's a doctor he's not well off.

"He owns shares in our family's business and practically the entire commercial street where his hospital is located belongs to him. My brother's cooking is incredible. If you don't believe me, just ask Lacey." Ellie felt awkward and didn't know what to say. This was typical of Diana; every tshe saw her, she promoted Mark.

Seeing Ellie stay silent, Diana insistently asked, "Why don't you give Mark a try? You might just find yourself charmed by his personality if you spend stwith him." "Diana, you're really underestimating her." Not far away, Haley and her friend approached with mocking expressions.
