Chapter 241 In the dining room, three pairs of eyes simultaneously turned to Alex.

He hadn't even set down the fork he had just snapped in half. His face clouded with anger, Alex stood up abruptly and stormed out. The remaining three exchanged puzzled glances.

Ellie paid no attention to Alex's sudden outburst. After finishing her breakfast, she went upstairs to get ready for work.

Without thinking, Ellie reached out, her hand moving toward the necklace around the girl's neck.

The blonde girl noticed and panicked, immediately turning to run.

"Stop right there!" Ellie yelled, chasing after her across the street. Who are you? Why is that necklace on you?" she demanded while running.

On the other side of the street, Ellie managed to grab the girl's collar, attempting to yank the necklace off. The girl fought back fiercely.
