Chapter 307 Alex's head was knocked to the side, but instead of getting angry he grabbed Ellie's wrist and pulled her back in front of him. He bent down slightly to meet her gaze. "If that makes you happy, you can do it again." +13 Ellie broke free from Alex, bent down, and picked up a palm-sized pebble. The next second, she threw it straight at his head.

Alex let out a muffled groan from the pain, but he didn't take a single step back. He felt something warm trickle down his forehead and raised his hand to wipe it.

When he saw the bright red blood on his hand, his eyes locked onto Ellie's. His gaze was intense and burning. "Alex, if you still feel sorry, then stay away from me. The farther, the better!" Ellie said, throwing the pebble to the ground and walking away without looking back.

She didn't go far when Alex wrapped his arms around her from behind. Before she could say anything, he shoved a credit card into her hand. "Any wrongs I've done to you-I'll make it up to you in other ways!" Alex held Ellie firmly, preventing her from leaving. "You can't stopfrom seeing you!" "You're shameless." Ellie couldn't find any other words to describe how despicable Alex was.

"Whatever you say.” Alex suddenly lost control, spinning Ellie around and kissing her before she could react. The unfamiliar sensation jolted through every nerve in Alex's body. He clutched Ellie's waist, kissing her fiercely as if trying to-swallow all her resistance and muffled cries.

Ellie's mind went buzzing with shock from Alex's sudden kiss. When she cto her senses, she bit down hard. The sudden pain brought Alex back to reality.

Alex was thrown into a panic by Ellie's flustered gaze. Watching him walk away, Ellie was so angry that she burst into tears on the spot.

Back in the day, he had clearly adored Haley and always defended her, but he constantly touched her inappropriately. Ellie had thought it was just a bad habit he hadn't kicked, a lack of boundaries.

However, after all the hurt he had caused her, he still had the nerve to do this to her and say such shameless things. Ellie just thought that he was helpless.

Alex hid nearby, watching Ellie from a distance. He gently touched his lower lips, injured by Ellie's bite, his eyes filled with pain as he kept his gaze locked on her.

He had fantasized countless times about doing exactly what he had done tonight-holding her tightly in his arms and kissing her deeply, whispering things only lovers would say. He was out of his mind with these thoughts.

"Happy now?" A sudden voice from behind startled Alex, making him jump. He turned around to see Layton emerging from the shadows, and his face immediately darkened.

A few minutes later, in a luxury car, Alex and Layton sat in the front seats, each with a cigarette in hand. Layton glanced over at Alex, who kept touching his lips, still bothered. With a smirk, ayton teased, "I knew you'd be here." Alex glared at him and said, "You're so annoying." Layton raised an eyebrow. "You hugged her and kissed her a bit, but got slapped and hit on the head. Are you happy now?" 19:20 Wed, Feb 12 Chapter 307 "I'm fine with it!" Alex shot Layton a glare before turning his attention to the view outside the window.

Layton didn't let up. "You promised your grandfather you'd get married, but you're stil/tangled up with Ellie. What exactly are you thinking?"

Alex didn't answer, so Layton pressed on. "You say you won't force Ellic, and several hours later, you're kissing and hugging her, practically ready to jump into bed with her. Which one is the real you?" "Shut up!" Alex snapped.

Layton smirked again. "Ellie is just unlucky to have crossed paths with you. Even ifyou're going crazy, you can't keep bothering her." Alex sighed, clearly irritated. "What's your brilliant idea, then?"
