A tall figure with straight dark brown hair could be seen standing in a well-decorated office.
The deep black eyes of the figure shone with anxiousness as he stared at the black haired man sitting in front of him.
The principal relaxed back on his chair, a strange glint flashed through his eyes as he stared at Harry.
He went silent for a few more seconds as he pondered on Harry's request.
As for the request; it was to gain a pass to the beast forest.
During the last few minutes, Harry had been trying his best to convince the principal to let him go into the forest.
He had already gone to the instructor in charge of giving out the passes, however, his request wasn't granted.
It wasn't that he was unqualified, but simply because he had only became an Elementalist in the academy a few months ago.
To the academy, he was no more than a new Elementalist who registered barely four months ago so it seemed too early for him too go into the beast forest.
The instructor then took him to the principal whose office he currently was.
So whether he would be given the pass or not depended on the principal.
Though Harry seemed quite calm on the surface, his heart was beating very fast.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtHe really hoped that the principal would grant his request.
His level had been stagnated for a few days now and the only way he gained EXP was through his daily quests and a few stage one beast cores he absorbed in the academy.
He knew better than anyone that he couldn't completely rely on those.
Though he could follow the instructor's advice and wait till he gain a little more 'experience', he didn't have that much time.
He would graduate from the academy in nothing more than a few months, and time wasn't something he had in abundance.
Just then, the principal sighed and then looked back up at Harry.
"Okay… I'll grant you the pass." He said with another sigh.
While it was quite the risky decision, it wasn't his choice to make.
He had already tried his best by warning Harry of how dangerous the beast forest is, but Harry's mind didn't waver.
Harry was more or less a special case, he wouldn't be in the academy for long so whether he liked it or not, they had to speed things up a bit for the student.
Besides, Harry would soon be promoted to the third Elemental year.
His progress was monstrous as usual, however, the principal was starting to get "used" to it. Subconsciously, he stopped viewing Harry as a normal Elementalist.
As for Harry, he was excited the moment he heard the principal give his approval.
A part of him had expected his request to be refused but fortunately for him, it was granted.
"Just know that you don't have to do this if you don't feel ready…" The principal said, still trying to see if Harry would change his mind.
A strange glint flashed through Harry's eyes when he heard the principal's words, however it was only for a moment so Randy didn't notice it.
"I am ready." He said with a slight smile. All the principal had done during the last few minutes was try to either give him hints or tell him about how dangerous the beast forest was.
"Okay, just go back to the instructor that sent you to me, I've already told him to grant you the pass." Randy said.
Harry's eyes squinted slightly, his eyes had been focused on the black haired man and he hadn't seen him make any call, so he was quite surprised at his words.
But he didn't ponder on it for too long and simply left the office.
The moment Harry left the office, Randy's eyes glittered with a weird glint.

Harry stared at the small green card in his hands with a slight smile. The card was the pass that he needed to show the people 'guarding' the beast forest.
He placed the card in his pocket and then turned to the blonde haired man standing beside with a tinge of surprise and curiosity on his face.
The man was an instructor from the Lightning hall, but Harry had only seen him a few times because he only taught those in the final year Elemental classes.
Harry's gaze washed all over the 'room', his eyes glittering everything he saw something that caught his interest.
He was currently in the Lightning hall's weaponry and around him were different weapons hanging from the walls, ranging from swords to daggers to axes.
However, most of them were more medical in appearance. There were nothing like guns or more 'modernised' and western weapons among them.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmAll the weapons in the room were rank one weapons so they weren't too powerful that the students couldn't handle them.
Even though most Elementalists mainly relied on their spells and rarely used weapons in combat, there were still a few that did.
Each element hall had its own separate weaponry, although Elementalists in the academy hardly used it.
While Harry trusted in his skills and abilities, he still felt that he should take a weapon with him.
After all, anything could happen in the beast forest and a weapon might come in handy anytime.
He went to the sword rack, but his attention only lingered on it for a while before he turned away.
Though it seemed like he was just staring at them, he was actually scanning the weapons with [Probe].
Most of the swords were more or less the same, with only slight differences in their stats.
However, none had managed to catch his attention.
Just then, his eyes caught sight of a silver pair of dagger that glistened and shone under the light.
Harry immediately walked towards it with his eyes shining with glee.
The dagger blades were short with thick black handles. The sides of the blades shone, proof of their sharpness and though they were short, Harry knew he couldn't underestimate their fatality, especially with the stats he saw through [Probe].
"I'll pick this." He suddenly said, his eyes still on the daggers.
