The phone inside Nathan's suit jacket continued ringing.

His hands, cold and tingling, picked up the phone to glance at the caller ID-Amella.

Finally, he answered, “Hello-"

“Nathan, where are you? I've been calling you all day.” Amelia bit her lips, her voice choked with

emotion.

“I was hit by a prop while filming an advertisement, so the director allowedto take half a month off to let my

foot heal. | was thinking... maybe we could use this tto plan our wedding?”

Nathan remained silent on the other end.
