“It's okay, wait foroutside,” Audrey reassured Lonnie.

After Lonnie left, the door was closed again.

Audrey turned to face Nathan, who was approaching her. She said, “I never thought you would resort to such

gangster tactics!”

“I used to deal with things like this. You just never saw this side of me.” Nathan stood in front of Audrey. He

casually picked up the ashtray on the table and extinguished the cigarette in his hand.
