Everyone had turned to the Trickster, myself included. Eyes were narrowing, and a demonic frost grew around the three fallen.
"A shame Mephisto snatched you up first," Dagon remarked.
"Oh, I don't know," Beezubub slyly added, "Maybe you should conceive of some children like Bel and me; maybe then you could mold yourself a progeny."
"Who the hell allowed you two to have children?" I couldn't help but ask, unable to stop thinking about myself and my twins."
"Why don't you ask your wife?" Belphegor suggested.
Shifting my gaze to Lilith, whose eyes were glowing, trying to process the information she held, she paused and glanced at me," They ran, to the Abyss, believing it was the Father who was preventing them from conceiving children."
"Huh?"
"It's true when Lucifer had Aurelia, all of us were mortified, especially since the wife was always a mystery, even to this day. But we learned that to conceive; he had to enter the Abyss. Since the ascension of the demonic duo, many of the fallen have been trying to—"
"Wait, are you telling me the Abyss is now a fuck pad? A place you guys go in order to get laid?" I asked, noticing the reddening of Lilith's cheeks. "Is there also pillow talk? What the hell! I thought the Abyss was dangerous, even for you guys."

"The little ones aren't born yet, but they will be soon." Beelzebub childishly remarked, "I think I'm going to name mine Baby Beel, Cute, right?
I swear there was a Manga about this! Why did they have to cancel it! The feels!
Clearing my throat, I proceeded to move on, " Why don't you answer Loki's question? Why are you all telling us this?"
"Infomation is king, and let's be honest, no one is going to work for Mephisto, not willingly anyway." Hearing Belphegor, I couldn't help but nod, "So I propose an alliance. Once Beel and Dagon are finished building their Cathedral, their deal with Mephisto will be complete."
Blinking mindlessly, I glanced at Lilith, smiling, and back to the trio, 'Are you all serious? You want me to go against Mephisto?"
"The man who is probably the mastermind behind everything evil?"
"Umm, that's me!" Beel said, raising his hand as if I was stealing his credit. " I am the First Lord of Evil. And I swear everyone always gives credit to Lucifer instead of me. Sure he might have created the first sin, but I am the force of all dark thoughts; just saying. Instead of blaming the one who tempts, try looking at the one who actually makes people follow through. No idea how people think Beelzebub and Lucifer are the same! TWO DIFFERENT NAMES! DIFFERENT DIALECTS, I SWEAR TO FUCKING CHRIST—"
"Oh, K, you need a time out!" Dagon chimed in, "As you can see, Beel has a little bit of a trigger in regards to his name, which was the fault of lucifer—"
"I've met Lucifer. That sounds like Mephisto's doing," I said, and Lilith and Loki nodded.
"Yeah, even I'll agree on that." Belphegor added, " I kinda figured. Lucifer is too uptight about making such a thing."
Seething in his chair, I was at a loss for words as Beelzebub seemed almost childish in his behavior. He was nothing like I had imagined. At first glance, he seems cold, but then he starts talking.
"So let me get this straight, you all want to challenge Mephisto, the omniscient schemer—
"your dick riding," said Beelzebub, chiming in.
"For what, exactly? Does no one see the plot here but me? Mephisto wants this to happen. He wants you all to team up, or do none of you still owe him favors?"
"I don't return favors," Belphegor snapped.
"We do, but Mephisto cashed in his last one, asking us to build these cathedrals for some reason, filled with our blessing and religion. It'll be a half cycle until everything is complete."
Listening to Dagon, began to go ever what Mephisto was trying to finish and wondered why he even sent me here? If Belphegor were to control the Marquess, I am sure it would take both Lilith and myself at full power just to kill him, but there are others here, High Gods, and scariest of all is this Cathedral.
They are not just using alloys from the Hells but from the Abyss. Something was happening, and despite what the trio here says, they were smart enough to see that. They are trying to use Lilith and me; that much was clear, but to what end?
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm"And what is it are we going to gain from this little adventure together?"
"Prosperity for you and your unborn children."
"Excuse me?" Lilith snapped, rising to her feet. "Want to repeat that?"
"Do you think Mephisto doesn't have his eyes set on—"
I, too, rose from my chair, unsheathing the Spear of Noctem, "Are you threatening us?"
Dagon frowned, " Arsene, we are merely being transparent. Do you really think no one is interested in your unborn children? Do you think Mephisto isn't? A new creature will soon be born. And we can promise you a sanctuary for them."
"Them?" I pointed out, understanding they also knew about Lilith having twins.
"Dinner is coming out soon, Beel, Dagon; we will discuss my terms later. Give me time with Mr. and Mrs. Snow."
Neither Beelzubub nor Dagon seemed to have changed in expression as they vanished without another word, leaving only Belphegor, who continued, " I'm only trying to assist you, my friend. As a man with a child on the way, how could I not understand the parental need to keep a son or daughter safe?"
Eyes narrowing, a blazing inferno took root in my heart as the Astral Force within me began to tremble, spreading throughout my being like an invisible web.
"I've never harmed you, Arsene, not truly."
"You're possessing the man who tried to kill me," I said.
"He could have killed you instantly before you knew it if I granted him my blessing during your first encounter. I suggest you take Blessings seriously, or you'll die. Your Forsaken Bloodline has its limits. On that, I can contest. I've killed quite a few Forsaken myself. Now sit, and let's discuss what I want."
