In that file, the seven people made an entrance into the grand hall, immediately attracting attention of most of the guests to themselves.
As soon as the old lady heard that her beloved grandson had come, she hurriedly helped herself out from her chair before any assistance could be rendered to her.
"Where is Wenwen?" She asked with her eyes darting around as she took quick steps away from the table.
The old Lady's movement immediately attracted some attention to her, but it wasn't much because the guest's were already being entertained with live music from a famous traditional band.
Sensing the her mother-in-law's impatience, Jian Cuifen managed a smile and immediately supported her with her arms. "Mother, why don't you let Bingwen come over to greet you? The guests would be distracted."
Without sparing her a glance, the old lady immediately childed her with a slight frown on her wrinkled face. "You should have mentioned it before I stood up. What would the guests think if I go back to my seat after taking a few steps forward?"
In essence, there was no how she would agree to return to her seat, not after standing up. Her actions couldn't seem stupid in the eyes of her guests.
Jian Cuifen nodded in understanding before leading her away as the members of the family sitting in the same round table stared ahead in curiousity.
"Why is mother leaving?" Fang Huiqing whispered to his second brother who was sitting next to him.
Smiling to himself, the man replied simply, "Your son is here."
"Was that the reason for all this fuss?" Fang Huiqing asked with a slight frown as his gaze landed to his mother and wife's back.

At that reminder, he snorted and looked away. At least he wasn't staring at the path the old lady left to anymore.
Luckily, the attention directed at the people coming into the hall wasn't much as some of the guests were watching and even dancing to the traditional music being played by the live band.
Stepping into the hall, Zhang Liling's eyes glistened with excitement as her gaze immediately darted around.
"This is indeed a big party." She mutted to herself in recognition.
Mr. Fang on the other hand, tried to mask the annoyance and irritation already threatening to blow up on his face.
Without a second thought, he lowered his head and tilted it to the side.
"Don't leave me side." He said to the woman by his side in a low tone.
Not quite understandind the reason for that order, Zhang Liling nodded before moving her gaze ahead.
Staring ahead, Chuanli caught sight of the old lady coming forward with the help of Fang Bingwen's mother and his lips curled upwards.
"Bingwen, it looks like your grandma has been on tiptoes because of you." He said with a knowing smile as all of them immediately saw the old lady coming towards them with a wild smile on her ahead face.
"She really is impatient." Mr. Fang said as his fingers around Zhang Liling's hand tightened a little.
Tilting his head a bit to the side, he pointed out to Zhang Liling. "The women coming toward us are my mother and my grandmother. There is no need to be afraid of them."
Then taking a second to exhale, he added, "Their hearts are very soft."
He needed to comfor her little heart to ease out any form of nervousness from her body, and it did work because Zhang Liling caressed the back of his hand with her four fingers.
"Thank you." Her soft voice uttered.
Before any form of conversation could be said anymore, the two women stopped in front of them, smiling from ear to ear.
"Wenwen," Old Lady Fang called out with an endearing smile as she reached out to hug her grandson after glancing briefly at Zhang Liling.
Mr. Fang looked like he was forced into the hug, but returned it anyways and ended it as soon as possible.
"Happy birthday, grandma." Fang Bingwen wished her before turning to his mother to greet her.
"Good evening, Mum."
"Welcome home, Bingwen." Jian Cuifen replied with a happy smile that reached her eyes.
She looked very happy to her son.
Chuanli and Bolin quickly greeted them before excusing themselves after receiving a simple welcoming response.

"Wenwen, who is this pretty girl beside you, won't you introduce us?" She asked before finally moving her warm smile to his face.
There was quite a huge difference in height between her and Fang Bingwen, and this forced the old lady to raise her head just to stare at his face.
Zhang Liling's heart raced in her chest with the two women staring at her with smiles on their faces, but she still managed to flash them a sweet smile while waiting for Fang Bingwen to formally introduce her to them.
It couldn't be helped that she was a little nervous being the centre of attention even though the women seemed to like her at first glance.
Mr. Fang who was still holding onto her hand, seemed to notice and immediately gave her hand a gentle squeeze that didn't escape his mother's eyes, before introducing her to them.
"Grandma, you have been pestering me about my girlfriend, here she is. Her name is Zhang Liling."
Immediately, Zhang Liling bowed respectfully to the old lady and greeted sweetly. "Hello, Grandma Fang."
"Hahaha..." A soft chuckle escaped the old Lady's lips as she stared at Zhang Liling's smiling face.
"Such a polite young woman." Her soft voice echoed in their ears amidst the music playing in the background.
'Polite untill you meet her other side. Stubbornness.' Mr. Fang said voicelessly as his gaze briefly passed the little woman by his side.
Inwardly, he was telling his grandmother to hold on until she saw the other side of the woman she just used the word 'polite' on.
When that time comes, she would definitely know if she had been wrong today or not.
