Witnessing her behaviour, Shi Wenqian was annoyed.
"Are you dumb?"
Being reminded of the question, Secretary Cha quickly put her emotions in order. "I'm sorry Ma'am. He is not some with his task yet."
Quickly snatching the phone from her, Shi Wenqian placed it on her ear.
"You better give me a good response within twenty minutes if you don't want all your organs to be donated!"
Agate leaving behind a threat, she handed the phone back to the woman who did not dare to look at her.
Quickly taking her phone back from her, secretary Cha followed after her.
"We will leave now." Shi Wenqian announced. Taking a moment to look at the few men that had gathered around, she remembered that they had gotten something for them.
"I will return after the wedding. Keep things tidy over here." Making that statement, she finally let a few of them follow her outside to take the bags from the trunk of her car.
Seeing the gifts she got for them, the gangsters were happy and couldn't help hailing her.
Seeing their reaction, Shi Wenqian felt that her housekeeper was smart and quickly stole a glance at her, but that was all.
She did not bother to praise her for being quick-witted and only got into the car.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtA few minutes into their journey, Shi Wenqian's phone rang. Thinking it was the underling she had sent on an errand, she quickly took her phone out of her bag to glance at the screen only to discover that it was a call from Mrs. Ong.
Immediately, a hiss escaped from her throat as she handed the phone over to the woman sitting at the front passenger seat.
"Tell her that I am a little busy with my foundation."
Receiving the phone from her, Secretary Cha answered the call.
"Hello, Mrs. Ong it's is Secretary Cha."
Mrs. Ong: "Where is your mistress?"
Since the call was on speak out, Shi Wenqian was able to hear the voice from the other end.
Just as she was instructed, Secretary Cha replied, "Ma'am is a little busy with the foundation, but you can drop your message with me, I will be sure to relay it to her."
"Do assistants these days answer the calls coming from their Master's private phone?" Mumbling to her hearing, Mrs. Ong went on to state the reason for the call.
"Inform your Mistress that the finally mean plan would be ready this evening. We are to meet at the caterer's office by 2pm for the tasting and rating."
With the grand wedding plans ongoing, the two women were making sure that everything was perfect and to their taste, and that includes the food that would be served to their guests on that day.
No single detail would be overlooked.
"Okay, Ma'am."
Just as the last word left her lips, the call got disconnected.
Truly, Mrs. Ong was impatient with people that did not matter to her.
Handing the phone over to the owner, Secretary Cha repeated the woman's words.
"I heard her clearly." Half-rolling her eyes, Shi Wenqian three her gaze away.
If she was very free, why did she feign busy to her son's future mother-in-law?
Well, that was because she wanted to appear like someone who had work to do and was not always available to answer her calls.
Knowing how arrogant the Ongs were, she didn't want anyone to step over her head just because they had more benefits to give in this union of their children.
Twenty minutes into their journey, Shi Wenqian's phone started to ring again.
"It had better be that incapable human calling to tell me about the test results!"
Cursing a few words under her breath, the lousy woman fiddled with the contents of her bag before successfully holding up her phone.
A few seconds after answering the call, her eyes grew in shock.
"What?!" she exclaimed as she quickly leaned away from the backrest of the car seat.
"She is really pregnant?!"
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmWaiting for a short while to listen to his response, she immediately gave out an order.
"I don't care about the name of that girl, but use whatever means to get rid of that child immediately!"
"Yes, Ma'am!" Immediately, they call disconnected.
Learning that Mikayla was pregnant with her son's child, Shi Wenqian was disoriented.
This was such a big deal that could give a big blow to her face and the Zhang family's reputation.
If the Ong family should find out that their would-be son-in-law got another woman pregnant a few days to their wedding, they would immediately call off the whole ceremony and then the media would be in their face.
She would never allow some useless grasshopper to ruin her twenty plus years plan!
Although the Ongs might not really care if Zhang Mingyu had another woman outside, but they could only tolerate that much just before the wedding takes place, and if he is careful to not let it get on the media.
They were that much considerate since they knew that the wedding was not happening based on love, so they could understand only to that point.
As for getting the woman pregnant and then appearing on social media with it, they would not sit and watch their family being humiliated.
Shi Wenqian knew this much hence, She didn't care about the life of any human that would unknowingly step in the middle of her success plan.
She would make sure to crush them so that in their next life, they would consider all angles before doing something as stupid as dating someone not in their league, especially, someone that was related to her and was a part of her goal.
Watching her Mistress's outburst, Secretary Cha got curious and dared to inquire of the reason despite the fact that her anger may be transferred to her.
After all, she was placed on a mission, so she had a duty to report the things she overheard to the man that sent her.
