Chapter 306
Kayson nodded in approval. “That’s great.”
Rowena, who was a little amused, pulled out her phone to text Kayson: (Why are you such a meanie?]
Kayson smiled and replied: (What’s the issue?]
Rowena texted back: [You’re tooting your own horn. Mr. Cash Jr. will cringe so hard when he finds out
you’re the hotel’s chairman!
Kayson replied: [It’s no big deal.]
Yuri led the two of them to Room Therde 3.
There were four classes of rooms in the Sirens Hotel: Primera, Segunda, Therde, and Quattor. There
was only one Room Primera, while there were two Room Segundas, five Room Therdes and eight Room
Quattors.
Upon sitting down, Yuri asked, “Kayson, can I ask several friends to join us?”
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtKayson nodded, “You’re hosting. You call the shots.”
Yuri chuckled. “There aren’t many of them. They’re all my best friends, Real friends.”
After sending the text, he sighed. “Before my tendons were cut, I was slightly more well-known, and a lot
of people were pandering to me.
“After my tendon injury, most of them stayed away from me, and only a handful stayed in contact with
me.
“It’s true what people say. You’ll only see who your fake friends are when you’re in trouble.”
Kayson comforted him. “It’s all in the past now. You’re already fully healed, so you’ll get back to the
peak.”
Yuri was grateful. “I have you to thank for. Speaking of which, need to thank the Roselle Lodge’s owner
too! If he hadn’t pulled those strings, I might’ve already…”
While they chatted, Yuri’s friends came. They were three people around his age, and after a brief
introduction, Kayson got to know them as well.
There was Diesel Chisholm, whose family ran a wholesale porcelain business, Buddie Gooding, whose
family was in the fashion industry and had a decently-sized fashion retail company locally, and last but
not least was Jim Milner, who was a practitioner who had yet to possess inner energy.
After a short exchange, Kayson realized that they were all genuine people
Jim said as they talked, “Yuri, Tamayo’s hosting a thing here tonight too.”
Anicy flicker flashed across Yuri’s eyes.
Kayson asked, “Jim, who’s Tamayo?”
Jim answered, “Looks like Yuri didn’t tell you in detail. His
tendons were broken by Aquilo Stone.
“Tamayo is Aquilo’s younger brother.”
Yuri huffed. “Forget it, don’t bring him up. Let’s just ignore him!”
Jim looked helpless. “Tamayo has a bunch of lackeys around him. A few of them used to hang out with
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmus.”
Buddie seemed disdainful as he grunted, “What a bunch of snakes. Nothing to be sorry about!”
“Tamayo’s all puffed up now that Aquilo’s the vice-captain of Admiralporium,” Diesel said.
Kayson’s interest was piqued. “The vice-captain of Admiralporium?”
Diesel replied, “Looks like you know about Admiralporium too, Kayson. The vice-captain holds a lot of
power.
“If Aquito came back, Northspring’s leader would be willing to welcome him himself.”
Kayson smiled. “He’s just a vice-captain, yet Tamayo is this brazen?”
“You have no idea, Kayson. Admiralporium isn’t an ordinary organization. Forget about the vice-captain.
Regular people can hardly come across a low-level member,” Diesel said.
“I’m not exaggerating, but if one became a second-level or third level member of Admiralporium, they’d
be superior to others wherever they are.” “And you say you’re not exaggerating?” Kayson chuckled.
