The Divine Shot pierced through Luke's head, ending the haughty grandmaster’s life.

After getting rid of Luke, Kayson went back to heal Bob.

However, Bob becagitated as he said, “Mr. Yarde, can you save my sister first?”

Kayson took a look at the woman lying in a pool of blood under a television.

“Sure.”

He walked over and pushed the television away. He flipped his sister over, and to his surprise, Bob's sister was

quite a beauty compared to Bob's average face.

He injected sof the evergreen energy into his sister to heal her wound. After that, he performed the

needling technique on her to speed up the healing process.

Bob's sister regained consciousness roughly ten minutes later. She opened her eyes, and the first person she

saw was Kayson.

“W-Who are you?” Yuna looked at Kayson, her face turning pale in fear.

Bob hastily said, “Yuna, he’s my friend, Mr. Yarde. You don‘t need to be scared of him.”

Yuna'‘s eyes turned red around the rims, and she rushed forward to hug her brother.

“Brother, why are you bleeding so much?”

Bob looked at his sister gently and said, “I'm fine. Don’t worry about me.”

Kayson asked, “What is going on with that Luke?”

Bob was very grateful to Kayson. If it weren’t for Kayson, he would be dead by now.

Honestly, Bob didn’t really care about himself. What he worried about was his sister. She might get violated by

other people after his death.

When the thought surfaced in his mind, his eyes were filled with anger.

“Luke was a powerful fighter from Eden Joy. The son of a high executive from Eden Joy has his eyes on my sister.

“I'm fully aware of what those people are capable of. No girl who falls into their hands ends up well.

“Therefore, | rejected him, and Luke attacked us.”

Kayson said indifferently, “Aren‘t you working for Eden Joy? How can they be so unreasonable?”

Bob let out a bitter smile and said, “Working for Eden Joy? That's just a nice way of saying it. In fact, I'm nothing

but their dog.

“Have you ever seen an owner who will reason with a dog? The bullying in Eden Joy is far beyond your

imagination, Mr. Yarde.” He sighed and continued. “The thing | regret the most in my life

is joining and working for Eden Joy.”

An emotion crossed Kayson's face as he asked, “So what are you going to do next? Are you still going to

continue to work for Eden Joy?”

Bob shook his head. “What? Of course not! Unless | have a death wish. If not, I'll never work for them. But it also

means that | can’t stay in Skyspring anymore. | plan to bring my sister to Eastriv or Eastsea.”

An idea crossed Kayson'‘s head after he heard what Bob said.

Kayson was looking for someone to bechis eyes in Skyspring, and it seemed to him that Bob was the perfect

candidate for the job.

“I remember you said before that you took over Howard's place after his death, right? Does this mean that Eden

Joy will send another person to replace you after they discard you?”

Bob replied, “Not necessarily Eden Joy. It might be other people too. Generally speaking, those higher-ups should

have already decided in advance who would replace me.

“Besides, those families that are interested can recommend someone from their own family to take over my

position as well. Basically, other forces won't say anything, and they won‘t
