Chapter 663 Genevieve glanced at the rear view mirror and saw the man behind her. Even though the police and
Coop‘s men are looking for him, he still managed to escape their search and hide in my car!
The sound of a trigger pull was clear in the quici car. She understood she couldn’t resist him willy-nilly
lost she would endanger her own life
Xavier climbed into the passenger seat and culce luis hand with hers. After putting the gun away. he
picked up the phone on the armrest box.
“Drive,” he coldly ordered. He used her hand to unlock her phone and called Cooper’s number
Genevieve turned her keys and started the engine.
As he waited for the call to be connected, he gave her a side glance. “I know you’re as crafty as
Cooper, Genevieve. Play any tricks, and you die.”
Genevieve calmly asked, “Did Sylvie help you break out of jail?”
She just remembered that Phineus was Sylvie’s uncle. However, Phineus was an unyielding man, so
there was no way he would’ve had secret dealings with Xedells police force.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThe only possibility was that Sylvie used her uncle’s name to ask Xedells’ police force to help Xavier
escape prison.
Without help from Sylvie and the city’s surveillance cameras, there was no way Xavier could’ve found
Genevieve.
“Yes,” Xavier admitted. Rage was clearly seen in his eyes. “That woman said she would give me all the
help I need, yet she framed me for a murder she committed!”
It was then Genevieve understood something as the look in her eyes darkened. “You didn’t kill Jane?”
He uttered coldly, “She’s just a sickly person! Why would I want to kill her? The people I want to kill are
you and Cooper!”
When Sylvie sent someone to visit him in prison, he was told that Sylvie had a grudge against
Genevieve. If he could kill Genevieve, then Sylvie would be willing to provide him with all the help.
Genevieve led his sister, Marilyn, to a tragic end and destroyed Wood Group. Xavier’s hatred for her
ran deep, so he agreed to cooperate with Sylvie.
To his surprise, after he escaped prison with the help of the prison guards there, things changed
rapidly.
He would’ve been dead without that person’s help.
At that moment, the call finally connected. Cooper’s voice echoed from the other end of the line.
“What’s up, Genev?”
Xavier glanced at Genevieve and spoke plainly. “Genevieve is in my hands right now. I want your
life for hers, Cooper. Head to Witchy Peaks alone.”
“Okay.” Cooper agreed without hesitation.
After the call ended. Xavier tossed the phone out the window and asked her to drive to Witchy Peaks.
Genevieve knew Xavier hated her and her brother to the bone. Thus, she had a strong fccling that he
was lying about what he said. There‘s no way he‘s lelling go of this golden opportunity after capturing
me. He‘s planning to take the both of us down!
When she saw a large trec in the distance, a dangerous idca popped into her mind. She began
analyzing what she needed to do to minimize her injury.
After calculating the distance and angle, she stepped on the gas pedal and sent the car zooming

Xavier immediately understood what Genevieve was doing and tried to take control of the steering
wheel. They fought with each other, causing the car to sway wildly on the road.
Genevieve forcefully grabbed the steering wheel, smashing the car through the railing and into the big
tree.
The airbag popped out.
As a result of the tremendous impact, their bodies were in great agony. Xavier’s injury was much more
severe as half of his body was crushed inside the deformed passenger seat.
After Genevieve’s dizziness passed, she effortfully unbuckled her seat belt and crawled toward him.
She wanted to pull out his gun and shoot him dead, but she didn’t find it. Her assumption was that it
landed below the car seat when the crash happened.
The key to the cuffs was the only thing she found.
When she unlocked the cuffs, she heard the sound of tires screeching on the road. When she turned
around, she saw a black Honda heading right in her direction.
Her pupils constricted as blood rushed into her head.
The moment she unlocked the cuffs, she leaped out of the car. The vehicle driving on the road swiftly
changed direction and rammed into her just as she stood up.
