Chapter 895
“Thank you,” Armand said to Harry.
“Genevieve is my friend too. I'm just doing what I should do. I'm feeling a little tired...” Harry mumbled sleepily.
Seeing that, Genevieve pulled Armand out. “You should go home. I've promised to keep him company tonight.”
“You're my wife. There's no difference if either one of us stays back. Besides, you should go home and take care of
the kids. I don't think the nanny can handle them,” Armand said gently, caressing her face.
He then said to Harry, “Anyway, it'll be easier to have a man take care of you. My wife will go home and take care
of the kids. Is that okay with you?”
Armand's eyes were pitch black, looking as if they could see through every hidden intention Harry had.
Harry pursed his lips and said, “Sure.”
“Okay. I'll go home now.” Genevieve wanted to give Armand a kiss, but with an outsider in their presence, she

Once the door was shut, the two men did not exchange a single word, causing the room to fall silent in an instant.
Armand strolled over to the bed, pulled up a chair, and sat on it. “You knew?”
“What?” Harry was confused by Armand's sentence, which had no context.
Armand fixed his dark eyes on Harry for over ten seconds before smiling. “Nothing. Do you want some water?”
Harry shook his head. “I want to sleep.”
Armand reached out and pressed the button on the side of the bed. The bed lowered slowly, and Harry pulled up
his blanket with one hand, burying his head in it.
Armand then unlocked his phone, wanting to send Jerry a text. However, too many things had happened recently,
and it was too much of a hassle to text each one personally. In the end, he decided to create a group chat with
Cooper and the others in it.
First, Armand tagged Steven, asking the latter to look into the surveillance footage of the open-air parking lot and
find out who that man was. Armand wanted to know if that was the same person who injured Genevieve on the
cruise ship.
Cooper immediately replied: Is Genev okay?
Armand: Harry shielded her, but his arm was slashed, so I'm spending the night at the hospital to keep him
company.
Jerry asked curiously: Did your wife offend someone? Why is she always the target for assassination?
Cooper: Zayne once asked me for Curb.emotion's antidote to save Sylvie, but I didn't give it to him. He watched
Sylvie die in his arms.
Cooper suspected Zayne was taking it out on Genevieve for Sylvie's death.
Armand, too, agreed with Cooper's reasoning. He could not think of a more plausible answer to the situation.
Moreover, he was constantly by Genevieve's side. There was no way he did not know about it if she had made
enemies along the way.
Jerry: I have a friend who's acquainted with Zayne. I'll get him to lure some information out of Zayne.
Armand: Thank you.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmJerry: Oh, come on. I'm more than happy to be able to serve a future political leader.
Ignoring Jerry's text, Armand typed: About the other matter, was Harry involved in it?
Jerry: I've might've known Harry for many years, but I don't know him that well anymore since we rarely hang out
for the past two years. Then again, he's mostly hanging out with people like Evan and the others. He shouldn't be
capable of doing such things.
Cooper: The more harmless a person looks, the scarier they can be. Apparently, he could've lost his life if the
bodyguard had arrived a little later when he was kidnapped as a kid. He even developed a major trauma because
of that. If I were him and knew who was working with the kidnapper, I'll never let the person off even if it would cost
me my life.
Jerry: His father, Nigel, is no fool. Besides, he's also a politician. There's no way he doesn't know about it if Dylan
worked with Hans' gang.
Cooper: They are both his sons. He can only feign ignorance even if he knows about it.
Jerry: As expected from Mr. Sutton, your reasoning ability is excellent.
Cooper then tagged Armand in the group with a text that read: Don't let Genev be in touch with Harry anymore. I
think this dude has a dark side, and he might be more ruthless than Jack.
