Chapter 6 Let’s Divorce

After saying this, she lost all consciousness.

When she woke up again, she was in an unfamiliar room with an unfamiliar man lying next

to her.

The clothes that were scattered beside the bed were enough to prove what happened last

night.

Maddy didn’t know what she was up to. However, she never bought anything for Nate ever

again.

He had abandoned it back then, but now he purposely asked her to come back for it.

Maddy silently picked up her shirt and walked out of the closet. She placed it on the bed

and was about to say something when she

realized that Nate was on the phone with someone. His voice was very low throughout the

entire process, and he didn’t even give her a

single glance, as if she didn’t exist.

Maddy wanted to talk to him about the divorce, but when she didn’t find a suitable time,

she turned and left.

was snatched away.

Nate looked at her coldly. “Maddy, have I been lenient on you lately?”

Maddy looked at her empty hand and only smiled after a while, “Mr. Levitan, you’d better be

careful. I can’t bear this word.”

The coldness in Nate’s eyes darkened. “When will you finish your act? Maddy, don’t

challenge my patience over and over again and

just tell me what you want.”

Maddy paused for a few seconds before she said. “Mr. Levitan, didn’t you say last time that

what I want is the Levitan Group? Will

you give it to me?”

“Madness.”

“Then let’s get a divorce. I don’t want anything.”

Nate furrowed his brows impatiently and put one hand into his pocket. “Besides these

words, what else can you say?”

Maddy didn’t understand. Wasn’t he always thinking of getting rid of her quickly? Why was

she begging him to get a divorce now?
