The books is starting it's second volume, and the plan is to go back to 2k words per day with around 2 chapters a day. My goal is also to make a fanfic in the upcoming days. If you guys want, I'll do an author Q&A soon. It's been a pleasure to write for you guys. With love SleepyGod.

As Ryan turned toward the portal, a message appeared in front of his eyes. It was Sylvanna's stats screen.
--------
Your Esteem with Sylvanna Lullaby has reached 75%.
--------
'So my chances with her are improving...' He concluded, as he looked at the reflection that led directly to his new home. The portal was increasing in size, going from an oval size to a full circle, it was possible to see every detail of the new house, as if it were a simple door or window open to the other side.
Olivia was the first to go through the doorway, putting one leg in at a time as she ducked down. "I've never seen a portal like this" she said in surprise. Sylvanna was sleepy, sitting up she said yawning "This portal is better for locomotion since you can talk between it, but... *yawn* it uses up a lot of mana" Sylvanna had her hand over her mouth, hiding her own face.
Slapping her hand away as she put both hands together, Lyza crouched down and lifted one of the larger boxes. She was carrying the thing with ease, raising her voice she said "Let's get started!" All the girls nodded and each took a box they could carry. Ryan took a rope and tied the boxes together, dragging them towards the portal.
* Half an hour passed *
"Are we done here?" Olivia said, drying the sweat from her forehead. Alice raised her thumb positively "By the list, yes." Sylvanna was almost passing out from exhaustion, the mana expenditure was making her body even more drowsy, but before she ended up sleeping on the other side of the portal, Lyza picked her up by her lap and brought her to Ryan's new apartment.
"You were able to do that?" Sara said, looking at Alice who answered again with a thumbsup. "Ryan, Ellen and I need your help. Could you come out with us?" Olivia said this with a suspicious face, as if she was rushed and uncomfortable with what Sara had said. With one of his eyebrows raised, Ryan agreed even though he was suspicious.
'<They are up to something>

"I forgot something" Ryan said, as he was pushed out by Olivia. "What?" all the other girls said, almost at the same time. "I need to give the keys to Lady Abigail, the landlord. Can you open the portal Sylvanna?" He said, walking back through the door.
Lying on the floor, Sylvanna nodded and the portal opened. "Thank you!" Ryan said, walking into the portal with Olivia and Ellen. "What do you guys need?" he asked, when he reached the other side.
"Actually, we want your opinion on some items. Then we can go in the business district after here" Olivia said. Ellen was in her sleepy milf way, with a smile she concluded "Ara- So getting into the portal made things a little easier."
'Well... My house is closer to the business district than the academy'
<His old house>
'Yes, you're right'
Ryan watched that empty apartment and felt a sort of tightness in his chest. As small as that house was for him, there was still a certain emotional attachment, he had spent much of his first year training in those cramped rooms. Several days of reading and dealing with defeat after defeat.
'Thanks for everything, house apart' He thought, looking at the key.
*
"Ms Abigail?" Ryan said, as he pressed the doorbell of the apartment next to his. "I'll be right there!" That lady shouted as, and after a few minutes a sound of footsteps came towards the door. "Coming already? Oh! So that's the mage who was going to solve the ghost problem?! You guys did it?!" The lady said excitedly.
"Yeah, it all worked out" Ryan said with a small smile on his face. "Ghost?" Olivia said, looking at Ellen.
"I'm glad you guys worked it out! I couldn't stand hearing that moaning every night anymore. It was honestly freaking me out, I never even imagined that the news of monsters coming out of the portals was true... Good thing we have travelers like you. I'll miss you kid," she said, as she squeezed one of Ryan's cheeks.
Behind him, Ellen and Olivia were exchanging embarrassed looks. Even without speaking a single word, they had both understood what the misunderstanding was that had happened. "We've sorted out the ghosts, don't worry about it" Olivia said, with a gentle smile in the middle of her red face. Then Ryan left the key and walked out of there with another pie.
"Ghost?" Olivia said, laughing. "I just went along with what she said..." Ryan said, letting out a laugh. "Were the walls that thin?" Ellen said, embarrassed.
"Looks like it" Ryan concluded.
Leaving the old apartment, Ryan, Ellen and Olivia headed towards the bus stop. After a few minutes they had arrived in the business district.
*
The business district consisted of several three-story buildings lined up between polished stone streets. Only pedestrians could pass through those streets, and in general, all the time that district was extremely busy. With vendors shouting from one side to the other while wearing typical second world clothing. It was common to see travelers returning and going towards portals, the commercial district was almost always a mandatory stop for any large group going to perform a portal.
The stores had small wooden signs signaling the items inside. Both simple retail stores and even forges and potions and enchantment stores. "Maybe it would be interesting to start selling my items here..." Ryan said aloud. "You're selling where?" Olivia questioned. "To the guild, but they don't pay that well" He concluded as he walked to a potions store.
"What are you guys looking for?" Ryan questioned. Olivia stopped at the same instant, not knowing how to react "Ehe- I-I don't really know what I'm looking for...". Closing his eyebrows, he turned around confused "Then why did you bring me here?" he said, confused.
'They're keeping me away from the house,' Ryan quickly concluded. Olivia's face turned red at the situation. Above the crowd, the succubus shouted as she pointed away
<Ryan! Look!"> she said excitedly.
At the same instant, he turned around and came across an incredible bargain, It was a shop stall filled with Dwarven golden boxes and tools. Ryan's eyes sparkled as he looked at the wooden sign that said each item was being sold for just a few copper coins. "Follow me!" Ryan said, before running out into the crowd.
"He wants dwarf boxes?" Olivia thought, confused. But she just followed Ryan.
"Decorate boxes! Decorate your house with lost dwarven technology! They are elegant and can carry mana and glow in the dark! Decoration boxes!" The store clerk was shouting, unsuccessful in attracting customers. "Oh! Welcome sir, are you interested?" The face of that salesman had quickly changed from a face of despair to one of happiness. He was a dark-skinned elf with long blond hair and an amber gaze that matched his yellow coat. Unlike most of the merchants in that place, the elf was wearing jeans and sneakers.
"How many boxes do you have?" Ryan said, crossing his arms and looking intently at those tools. The elf was surprised by his speech, taking a step back. "I must have about three hundred..." He said, confused.
"How much are you selling each one?" Ryan said, looking at the sign. The elf replied with trepidation "I'm selling each one for thirty pieces of copper"
'As I thought, that item is worth nothing'
Staring into the elf's eyes, he gave an offer "I'll buy all the boxes for twenty copper coins". The elf was startled by the offer, raising one of his eyebrows, but after some thought, he accepted the offer with a triumphant smile on his face.
'He must be thinking he's cheating on me' Ryan said with a small smile.
<Probably, when he turned around he started laughing to himself. 'He thinks you're an idiot, master.

It took several minutes for Ryan to get each of those boxes into his inventory. The quantity was so large that both Ellen and Olivia had to put dwarf boxes into dimensional bags, but after fifteen minutes of putting those items away, Ryan left the market with a giant smile on his face.
"I finally found a way to make a quick buck" He said, imagining the various possibilities running through his head. Olivia and Ellen exchanged confused looks, but just accepted their master's unusual idea.
* Ring * Ring * Ryan's cell phone rang a notification.
'Hm? It's from the group...'
Opening his cell phone, he entered his harem's groupchat.
--------
[Lyza]: We're done
[Alice]: You can now bring the master to see the surprise
--------
"So that was it..." Ryan said, with a smile on his face.
