situation?”

weren't there with him.”

performance in it.”

Excited, Ning Ran remarked, “Sure, but I'm new. Will the director hire me?”

“You have a successful movie as well. Although the impact isn't as huge as Boundless, you're a talented actress. I'll

recommend you to the director, Cameron. I believe he'll like your acting.”

“Okay, thank you, Judy!”

By the time the banquet ended, Ning Ran was in a good mood.

Even though her social network was not as extensive as Luo Zhiyi's, she did not lose to the latter in this event.

Most importantly, she had gotten an offer from Judy to act in Boundless.

She had to tell Nan Chen about this good news.

“Didn't you want me to go international? Participating in such a major film is a good opportunity for it,” said Ning

Ran, somewhat upset.

“No,” replied Nan Chen simply.

“Why?”

“There were Asian stars who participated in major international films before, but very few of them were cast as

main characters. Even supporting roles were hard to come by. Most of them were just extras, so it'd be

meaningless to participate.”

Ning Ran never thought about that.

Now that Nan Chen mentioned it, she knew it was true.

Many international films invited Asian stars just to tap into the Asian market. In reality, they would not value the

stars' acting skills.

“But I still want to try because I love this movie. I don't mind about the screen time and pay.” Ning Ran spoke

stubbornly.

“No,” Nan Chen objected.

“Why? We don't always need to be main characters.”

“Then you need to play an important supporting role, at least. What's the point of being a character with no dialogs

and screen time? As for the pay, I don't mind that either, but there should be enough screen time to showcase your

value. From what I know about Cameron, he's unlikely to offer you much screen time.”
