Origin Court: Accepting Disciples With A System
Chapter 323 Reunited With The EldestChapter 323 Reunited With The Eldest
"Why do you insist in fighting me for the throne?" Lin Diyu gritted his teeth as he looked at the Second Prince. "I don't intend to take the throne. Like what I said, I've already had enough with all these political affairs. I don't care about the throne at all. It's all yours and that First Prince to take. I don't mind as long as I can find myself at peace."
Although he really wanted to build an army for his master, during the fight, he found out that an army would not be needed for a fight of those standing at the top of the food chain. One's prowess would already be enough to fight against a billion or a trillion soldiers. His master had already proved that several times, from the very beginning, even leaving no traces of anyone.
"Nonsense! Then, why would you accept the title of becoming the Third Prince in the first place?!" the Second Prince growled as he launched another attack at Lin Diyu.
Lin Diyu was stunned and regained his composure as he looked at the Second Prince. "Seriously, I also wanted to be the next Fiend Emperor. However, over time, I found that it was already unnecessary. My master was already strong. An army coming from this palace would only be cannon fodder for my master out there—when an enemy that was as strong as him would come."
"Master?"
At this time, it was the Second Prince who was stunned. He had never heard of this Third Prince mentioning about having a master. If, for instance, his master happened to have been the Fiend Ancestor, then wouldn't the throne be already in his bag?
"Yes, master. I'm afraid he's already here," Lin Diyu said as he smiled. "I don't have to keep talking nonsense to you. My little junior brother is already here and is telling me to stop the fight as soon as possible. Otherwise, you would die without a grave."
The Second Prince was now flabbergasted. It did not occur to him that the ever-cautious Third Prince had this arrogant side of him.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtWithout reserving any of his strength, Lin Diyu released all of his aura, making the entire palace tremble, frightening not only the old man beside the First Prince but also the Fiend Ancestor himself. It had to be known that an ancestor is already the strongest figure of a palace. If even him was scare witless of this spreading aura, even more so for those under him.
"That's right," a childlike voice invaded the Second Prince's mind.
Out of nowhere, Long Guang appeared before him after a split second, just a meter away from his position. "My senior brother is powerful enough to crush you. He was just being cautious, lest you would have the capability to kill him."
'What the fuck…'
The Second Prince peed in fear. He was caught tongue-tied. It was truly a baffling but most shocking situation he had ever encountered in his life. The Third Prince he had once thought to be a great rival of his was actually several times more powerful than him, even more powerful than the Fiend Emperor's pressure.
Moreover, that was not the only thing he noticed. The child before him who's appeared screamed that of a playful ten-year-old—was someone he could not measure. This child's blue eyes had stunned his very soul and in the depths of it, it felt like he couldn't wait to kneel down and prostrate himself to worship this child in front of him.
What was even more shocking was that Lin Diyu did not even bother to protect this so-called 'little junior brother' of his and just let his dark aura permeate like a raging ocean that would storm anyone's lives.
Xie Dou trembled as he looked at the direction where the dark aura came from. "What the fuck is that?"
Hearing him blurt out such a cuss, Yang Lujia lightly chuckled. "That's my disciple for you. It seems like he's already reached the limit of this realm. After settling the matters here, I would bring them again to the higher realm. Of course, as the eldest disciple, he should not falter behind his little junior brothers and junior sister. Otherwise, he would be looked down."
Xie Dou was shocked to his core and looked at Yang Lujia as though he was looking at a monster. To be able to cultivate such a disciple that he did not even think of challenging due to the overwhelming power of darkness he had felt earlier, this young man just near him would truly be powerful—that a possibility of him coming from the higher realms would not be impossible.
All this time, it felt like what he experienced were only the most impossible things to happen in this realm. Could it be that this young man was someone who came from a strong family of some sort in the higher realms? All of them were aiming to becoming strong and ascend to the higher realm.
However, ascending to the higher realm only means you're going back to the bottom. This is the reason why, even he, was tempted to initiate the Realm Amalgamation Project of the two temples, with the hopes of equating the power held by those in the upper realms.
"What are these darkness rules? Why do they have this menacing aura that threatens my own comprehension of rules?" Lu Bao was confounded as he looked at the dancing rules of darkness. As if mesmerized by the rules themselves, he tried touching the rules as he tried to see the difference between his comprehension and the other person releasing this aura. "What an incredible aura. Even more incredible than the Temporal Lord himself."
"What do you think of my disciple, Lu Bao? Do you think he can fight your Temporal Lord?" Yang Lujia showed an arrogant smirk at this man who was still trapped in the thought process of becoming enlightened—that there would always be a greater world out there.
"I want to follow him," Lu Bao suddenly said, strengthening his resolve as he stared at the rules of darkness. He could not forget all of these.
Not only Yang Lujia, even Xie Dou and the others were stunned by his unexpected reply. That was truly surprising.
"Do you think you're worthy of following him?" Yang Lujia harrumphed as he looked at Lu Bao in disdain. It did not mean, however, that he would mind his disciple having someone like him with their company. He just disdained Lu Bao for his strength. Although he was stronger than Xie Dou, in his eyes, this man still did not even have an inkling of Long Guang's strength. Even Yang Fei was stronger than him.
"I will do anything to make that happen." Lu Bao relieved all of his stress and pent-up anger he had against Yang Lujia. After all, this was the master of someone who could cultivate someone as powerful as this person releasing the rules of darkness at the moment. In the middle of this darkness, there was even the hint of slaughter.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm"Alright. However, that will depend on his decision," Yang Lujia replied as he looked at Xie Dou. "Let's go and open this Carnage Firmament of yours. I'm interested about its origins." He smiled.
"Master," a dignified voice suddenly resounded into everyone's ears. Then, a loud thump, as though some bones had been broken, echoed that it made them shudder. "Disciple greets master!"
Lin Diyu.
That was right. This young man who knelt in front of Yang Lujia, with his head bowed down, was Lin Diyu himself. At this moment, only silence pervaded the entire area, while Yang Lujia only stared at Lin Diyu with a gentle gaze.
On the other hand, Lu Bao became even more fired up.
HISS!
What a powerful dark aura! He felt the urge to immediately prostrate himself in front of this young man in the most immediate time he could!
