"I am now at fifth stage of Meridian opening realm", Zhan Chen replied. 

"Little Chen, are you telling the truth? Are not you at the first stage of Meridian opening realm, when we attained the coming of age ceremony?", Zhan Qingyue inquired.

"Yes, I was at first stage of Meridian opening realm at that time", Zhan Chen admitted as he had nothing to hide.

"Then, how is it possible! It has only been three days yet you have managed to progress four stages", Zhan Qingyue's eyes widened as she looked at Zhan Chen with disbelief in her eyes. No matter how much she trusted Zhan Chen, she couldn't understand how one could raise cultivation level in such a manner.

"You! Are you telling the truth? Are you only at fifth stage of Meridian opening realm?", Mo Ting asked with a surprised voice. Zhan Chen didn't bother to reply as he was slightly displeased towards this tall, pretty looking girl. He only calmly stared at her without saying anything.

"It is unbelievable! A fifth stage Meridian opening realm cultivator defeating a peak stage Meridian opening realm. Moreover, Ye Lang is a famous genius who can give a fight to the ordinary early stage True essence realm experts", Mo Ting murmured as she didn't mind Zhan Chen ignoring her.

"Chen'er, come here. The second elder of Mo family wants to see you", Li Qingzhao shouted from a distance. 

"Big sis, we can talk later. I have to go there for now", Zhan Chen spoke. Zhan Qingyue nodded her head with a smile and Zhan Chen walked towards the place where his aunts and mother were talking with other important guests.

"Chen'er, he is the second elder of Mo family. Greet him first", Li Qingzhao reminded.

"Greetings senior", Zhan Chen cupped his fists towards the second elder of Mo family. The Mo family second elder was an amiable looking middle-aged man. He was silently observing every movement of Zhan Chen since the beginning. He nodded with a smile when Zhan Chen greeted him.

"Young man, are you going to participate in the upcoming Grand sect competition?", the second elder of Mo family asked. 

"Yes, I am going to participate. I need to see the level of the geniuses of this continent", Zhan Chen replied.

"How confident you are?", the second elder of Mo family asked. His question may seemed like utter nonsense as everyone knew how difficult it was to get a rank in the Grand sect competition is. But he still asked this question to Zhan Chen who was at Fifth stage of Meridian opening realm.

"Elder Cheng, he is only sixteen this year. He can still attend the competition after he become nineteen year old", the eldest aunt of Zhan Chen interjected from side.

"Never mind. I am just curious", the second elder of Mo family smiled but he still threw look at Zhan Chen.

"Elder, I will definitely attend the Grand sect competition this time. You can see for yourself my performance at that time", Zhan Chen spoke with a smile. The second elder of Mo family nodded his head with a smile after he heard Zhan Chen's reply.

"Fourth young master, someone from the Firecloud treasure pavilion is here to visit you. She is saying that it is urgent. So, I have come to find you", a Zhan family guard came over and informed Zhan Chen.

"Someone from Firecloud treasure pavilion? Looks like, you brat really has some ability", the eldest aunt of Zhan Chen smiled. She knew that Zhan Chen was absent from Zhan family estate because he was doing something for the Firecloud treasure pavilion.

"Ok, little Chen. You should go and see the guest of Firecloud treasure pavilion. We can talk after you are free", the eldest aunt of Zhan Chen smiled at Zhan Chen. Zhan Chen nodded his head and walked outside with the Zhan family guard.

"Su'er, why are you here?", Zhan Chen asked after seeing the person of Firecloud treasure pavilion. She was one of the maid with whom Zhan Chen had intimate relationship.

"Young master, I am sorry to disturb you. Young miss has instructed not to bother you untill the gathering is over", Su'er looked at Zhan Chen with an apologetic look.

"Ok, don't be like this. Tell me the reason why your young miss has sent you here", Zhan Chen asked with a smile.

"Young miss said that they need the essence condensation pill urgently. Someone from the Huo clan is coming over to poach grandmaster Li", Su'er spoke.

"Young miss and manager Yao are trying their best to think of a solution but Huo clan seems confident to win over grandmaster Li", Su'er spoke.

"Chen'er, I will help you explain to your aunts. You should go and help Ruyan", Li Qingzhao replied. Zhan Chen then informed Zhan Qingyue about his departure. Then he left the Zhan family estate with Su'er.

A figure appeared out of darkness after they had left the Zhan family estate. It was old woman Liu Nanxi who always loved to stay in the shadow.

"Brat, let's hurry over. It is urgent this time", Liu Nanxi spoke and took Zhan Chen and Su'er with her.
