Yana pursed her lips as she watched the people fly off. She scratched her head as she mumbled: "I thought they wanted to fight. Awe, well, I guess I can just search for a fight elsewhere..."
Feeling disappointed, Yana flew off in the opposite direction. She figured since those men were running away, she wouldn't find anyone strong in that direction. She flew for half a day until she finally spotted what looked like a town of some kind. As she flew near the town, she stopped short fifty meters from the entrance. "Oh? A no-fly zone array. Haven't seen one of these for a while."
She poked her finger through the array and could feel the suppressive force on the other side. "Not that powerful..." Seeing how it was no threat, Yana continued forward, flying through the sky.
As she passed through the array, an old man in one of the mansions raised his head. He looked over at the young woman next to him and said: "Go meet the girl who just arrived. Bring her here. She is to be treated with respect."
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThe girl with bunny ears bowed her head and said: "Yes, Grandfather." The girl had long white hair and two long bunny ears on top of her head that twitched back and forth. On her butt was a puffy tail. The girl was on the small side with modest breasts. She turned and headed out the door to meet this mysterious person. She had no idea what she looked like, but for her grandfather to notice, she knew this girl must be flying within his array.
She walked out of the estate and flew up into the air. Only those of her family were allowed to fly within the array freely. As soon as she flew up into the sky, she saw the young girl standing in the sky, looking around, seemingly lost. "Excuse me."
Yana heard someone call out to her, causing her to turn her head. She felt nothing off about the girl flying towards her, so she did not draw her sword. "Can I help you?"
"Yes, my name is Gia. My grandfather would like to meet you. As he is the lord here, he wishes to meet the one who is able to fly so freely within the array he put up himself. People call him Lord Ein." Gia replied.
Yana thought for a moment and nodded her head. She figured since this girl showed no hint of hostility, it was fine to follow along mainly because she needed information. "My name is Yana. Please lead the way."
Gia smiled and motioned with her arms: "Follow me, please."
The two began flying towards the most expensive-looking mansion in the town. Along the way, Gia kept looking over at Yana, wondering just how she was able to resist the formation. "Ummm… I know it is not something I should ask, but I can't help my curiosity. How are you flying within the array?"
Yana looked over at the girl and gave her a wide grin as she said: "Because I'm strong."
Gia was stunned by Yana's answer for a second before finally bursting into laughter. "Haha! You're right! Not even the top ten can fly in this array, but you are able to. This shows just how strong you are." Yana smiled and felt this girl was very likable. She was upfront with her words and showed no fear.
The two girls landed inside the estate and walked into the big mansion, where a maid walked up and bowed to the both of them. "Young Miss, Miss, Master is waiting in the meeting room."
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmGia nodded and walked towards the meeting room with Yana following behind her. The house was decorated with simple furnishings. But with one look, Yana could tell that each one was a work of art. The intricate designs on the furniture were not something one could do easily.
"You're here." A smiling old man said as he waved the two girls over. "Miss, my name is Lord Ein. You surprised me when you passed through my array that not even those in the top ten of the realm of blood are even able to do such a thing. As such, I had to meet you, so please excuse my sudden invite."
Yana smiled as she sat down on the couch across from the old man. Gia sat right next to her. "It is fine. It was actually the perfect timing because I was looking for information anyway. I just arrived in the realm of blood due to some old bastard."
"Ahh! Choo!?" The old man sitting in Eden rubbed his nose and looked around. "Probably that damn girl bad-mouthing..."
"Anyway, I needed to know who the strongest people are and where they are located. So if grandpa Ein can help tell me where they are, that would be very helpful." Yana did not beat around the bush and got right to the reason she even accepted the invitation.
"Hehe, then you came to the right place. Because the number one on the list is sitting in front of you." Gia said as she giggled. She found Yana even more interesting now. To think a girl around her age was actually looking to pick a fight with the top ten monsters.
"Haha! Hahahaha! I like you! Good! Since you called me grandpa, I will be just that while you are in the realm of blood, you can stay here. Any information or resources you need, you can feel free to ask. As for the top ten besides myself, I know numbers two through five are continuously trying the trials of the war god, but most of them come back almost half dead each time. They have a truce up there at the moment. But that truce is only for the four of them. If anyone else shows up, they will all attack them right away." Lord Ein couldn't help but like this little girl. She was just like his real granddaughter in how she held herself.
"Hmm, just how powerful are they?" Yana asked, tilting her head to the side. She was not one to run into a losing fight. If she can't fight them head-on, she would rather grow stronger first than fight then head-on. She had only learned the first four stances of her sword skills and still had six more to learn.
"Hmmm… Why not rest for today and we will test your abilities tomorrow. I can see by the blood stuck to your body that you have already been in a battle today. Gia will take you to the bathes so you can get cleaned up."
