Reborn As A Dragon Girl With A System
Chapter 797: Summoning The Angelic Deity LegionSeeing the notification from her own system saying she picked up a new spell, Kana couldn't help but smile. After having dealt with so much annoyance over the past few weeks getting a skill, she could actually use made things worth it. Or this was what Kana would have thought if it was not for how annoying the stupid popup windows were. Always a popup for every action!
Kana did not say anything to the robot as she read the description of the skill.
[Summon Angelic Deity Legion]
[Summon a legion of angelic deities of ten thousand strong. Once summoned, the legion will exist until they are either killed or de-summoned. Side note: Diety's do not die and will return the next time the skill is used. This skill can not be used multiple times in a row. If skill is active, it can not be used again until the current running spell is canceled.]
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt"This should definitely come in handy." Kana smiled and walked out of the room, ignoring the robot once again. After she left, the old man with a golden beard appeared once more. "Now then. Let's see if you can pass the final stage. World of Belda Three!"
Kana, who was almost all the way up the stairs suddenly had a cold chill run down her back. She turned around and looked down the stairwell. When she saw nothing there, she wrinkled her nose and continued out of the stone hut.
But what she was met with was a massive battle. Hordes of skeletons were battling black clothed cultivators by the thousands. But when she saw the techniques these cultivators were using, Kana couldn't help but frown. "Devil cultivators…. I guess this will make a good test of this skill."
Kana took a deep breath and softly spoke: "Summon Angelic Deity Legion!"
It was as if time had frozen. The battle that was raging suddenly stopped, and all the devil cultivators and skeletons all turned their eyes skyward. The sounds of trumpets began to play, echoing throughout the sky. Even those on the other side of the mystic realm looked towards the sky. No one moved. They all seemed to be in some kind of trance. Whether human, undead, or beast, it did not matter who they were. They all seemed frozen stiff with fear filled eyes. But this only lasted a second before things suddenly returned to normal, and the battle in front of her began to play out once more.
The only exception was Kana. She looked up at the sky to see grotesque creators with wings hovering in the air. Although they were ugly and horrifying looking, Kana could feel a connection to them. "Hmmm… So these of the angelic deities? Seems like something out of a horror film…."
Kana watched as the leader of the deities slowly descended and landed in front of her. It was a large eyeball with disgusting ooze covering its body. It had no mouth, but Kana still heard a voice echoing in her mind. [Your orders, Your Grace….]
Kana's eyes moved from the large eyeball and looked at the black clothed cultivators. "Leave the skeletons alone and kill all the people fighting them. Let none escape."
[As you wish….]
What happened next was beyond Kana's imagination. Her legion of thousands of horrific deities flew down from the sky and caused the sea of sand to be dyed in blood. A red river formed as the deities drained the blood of their enemy, leaving nothing left of their bodies. Even their souls were not spared. Kana did not even flinch, seeing all the blood. She had no feelings as she watched these devil cultivators die before her. Each and every one of them were people who used the blood of others to further their own cultivation.
Sadly for the devil sects, they would suffer a huge loss this day. Thousands of disciples they sent into the mystic realm were all wiped out in a bloody massacre. And without any witnesses, they would not even be able to prove that it was Kana who did it.
Kana waited until the last devil cultivator was killed before calling back the deities. She was about to de-summon then when a thought came to mind. She looked at the large eyeball and asked. "Are you able to tell the difference between spiritual qi and devil qi?"
[Yes, there is a distinct evil aura coming from them….]
"Then please spread your men out and take care of every devil cultivator within this mystic realm. You have about four months to finish before I will need to de-summon you all." Kana wanted to get rid of as many enemies as possible. She knew the devil cultivators were out to get her due to recent events, so she figured it would be best to take care of them before they caused her any more problems.
[As you command, Your Grace…..]
Kana watched as the deities flew off and spread out over the mystic realm. She was about to turn and continue towards the edge of the desert when a bony hand tapped her shoulder. She turned and looked into the hollow eyes of the skeleton with a smile. "No need to thank me. Just be careful from now on."
"At least allow us to show you how to get out of the endless desert…." The skeleton seemed to want to repay Kana no matter what. Seeing this, Kana smiled and nodded her head. If only Kana knew by saying yes to this, she would be led into the next phase of her own torment.
As Kana was making her way away from the scene of the bloody mess, a golden bearded old man appeared and looked at the blood soaked earth and frowned slightly. "I had forgotten about these kinds of cultivators…. Their blood now soils my mystic realm."
With a deep frown on his face he waved his hand causing the entire desert in front of him to light up and in a flash of light the blood that covered the ground disappeared as if it was never there. The golden bearded old man turned and looked in the direction Kana was heading and smiled brightly. He rubbed his hands together as his smile turned into a mischievous grin. "Now then what kind of game should I force her to play now?"
