The meal left me all warm and fuzzy, and Oscar was such a chatterbox that the mood was really

upbeat

Then drove to Evergreen Park, the biggest park in Rosemont, with a massive artificial lake that’s

birds sometimes perch on the ice. People buy some bread, crumble it up, and throw it on the ice for the

Oscar also bought two loaves of bread and handed one to me, “Trene, you feed them too”

about taking some photos with the kitten?”

I leaned against the railing, took the kitten, and smiled at him, “Sure, let’s do it”

Oscar was quite good at photography I had seen the photos he took of Bonnie on his Instagram before.

After taking a dozen or so photos, he said, “All right, come take a look”

As I was carefully selecting the best shots, someone stood in front of us I looked up.

Russel appeared before me like a ghost, with a group of his colleagues not far behind sneakily looking

“Hahaha.” I couldn’t help but laugh. Oscar was just like my female friends. His misunderstanding of

Russel was too deep.

“Why are you laughing? Oscar asked awkwardly.

“Oscar, if you said Russel was after Bonnie, I might believe you, got it?” I patted Oscar on the arm,

“Let’s go. Let’s see what else there is to do on the top

of the mountain”

We looked around and found that aside from the view, there wasn’t much else to do.

Russel and his colleagues came prepared and set up a barbecue in the cold wind. I couldn’t believe he

would participate in such an event.

And there were a bunch of pretty girls flocking around Russel, who seemed to be quite popular.

Too bad he didn’t seem to be paying them much attention.

“Oscar, let’s go down the mountain” I lost interest in staying and casually told Oscar.

Oscar nodded and followed me down the mountain.

By the time we got down, it was getting dark. Before leaving, I could tell Oscar had something he

wanted to say to me. But I was feeling annoyed and didn’t want to add to my troubles, so I didn’t wait

for him to speak and just drove off.

I saw through the rear–view mirror that Oscar was standing by the side of the road, not moving.

A pang of guilt hit me again I thought I should stop giving Oscar false hopes.

I decided I was going to file lor divorce with Neill

After I had this idea, I went home and immediately blabbed to a few of my gal pals. They were super

pumped after hearing it, and Alicia even hooked me up with a lawyer who specializes in divorce cases.

So, under the guidance of this lawyer, I started to prepare the lawsuit

Two days later, I handed over the suit to the court. If all goes well, Neil will be notified in a week.

Regardless of how he will respond, I’ve made up my mind I gotta get this divorce.

As for my parents and in–laws, I’ll deal with them when the time comes.

When Stella heard I had filed the suit, she was so thrilled that she came over to my place in the

evening and asked, “Is it for real? Rena, does this mean my

brother has a shot now?!”
