The moment she returned to her office, Mikayla received a call from Carlos, asking her if she was done. Since her

leg injury, Mikayla got off work on tdaily and took any unfinished work home. The meeting today ran late but

attracted many people from the upper class. Naturally, that kind of charity auction was also participated by

There were rumors that the auction's highlight was a vintage limited edition piece designed by Frederic Banton,

an internationally renowned jewelry designer. There was only one piece of the necklace in the world and it was

Carlos hadn't bid on anything yet. He stared fixedly at the stage until a gold goblet was displayed on the stage,

in the Middle Ages. It was the only antique gold ware of the Middle Ages that had been seen so far and also the

most exquisite piece. Made of extremely rare pure gold, it had a horn-shaped beast head with two horns as the

handle and a gold cap at its mouth. Its eyes, ears, and nose were all delicately carved. "The starting price is 1.7
