Chapter 1115: Tasha caught the whole thing. Without thinking twice, she hit record. Neither Caiden nor Joyce noticed a thing.
Caiden let out a heavy sigh. "She's a disgrace. I still don't understand how I raised such an ungrateful daughter." Joyce turned to him. "Dad, you have to help me. Jack's too fragile to stay in scramped guest room." Tasha chimed in, "That guest room downstairs? It's actually pretty big. It's over fifty square meters. Most families live in a hundred-square-meter apartment with three people. That guest room is fully furnished and way above average. Isn't that enough?" Joyce rolled her eyes. "What would you know? Jack is meant to inherit everything. He's the future of Elite Lux. How can he stay in a place like that? Dad, you have to stand up for us tomorrow." Caiden's face went pale. He couldn't stop thinking about the mental institution. "Just deal with it for now. Don't push her." With that, he disappeared into the guest room.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtJoyce clenched her fists. Her eyes narrowed, as if she were planning something.
She bent down beside Jack and whispered, “Jack, you're my only hope now." Jack tightened his fists. "Mom, I'm the heir to Elite Lux. I'll protect you, no matter what." Joyce gave a small nod, visibly relieved.
As Daniela moved in, Tasha was in the middle of packing up her things.
"If you're willing to stay, I'll hire you," said Daniela. "I really like your cooking." Tasha paused, glanced at her, and after a few seconds, nodded.
She cback with her belongings.
Joyce let out a bitter scoff. "Loyalty means nothing to people anymore. I begged you to stay, and it was useless. Then she speaks one word, and you're unpacking again. Tell me, Tasha, does her money look shinier than mine?" Daniela entered the room just then, her eyes locked on Joyce. "This is my house, so think before you talk. If you keep running your mouth, I'll throw you out. You believe me, don't you?" Joyce started to reply but gave up halfway, lips pressed in frustration. Tasha glanced at Daniela, realizing she was nothing like the woman from the gossip sites.

Tasha started up the stairs with a basket, but Daniela waved her off. "You don't need to handle that. Someone else will take care of the room. Just focus on the kitchen." Tasha looked at Daniela again, this twith a hint of respect.
Daniela was like a natural leader who kept everything under control.
That morning, people moved in and out of the house, handling them bedrooms. By the tTasha finished making lunch, the upstairs had already been set right.
She went up to check it herself. Not only had the master and guest rooms ter been cleaned, but every upstairs En room had been rearranged. The place looked completely different. Like new.
